well i have vista and ive tried seemingly every desktop manager out there and none of them seem to work on vista except Yom'd its pretty sweet. It has a 3D cube that shows all your desktops that you rotate. id post a screenshot but it doesnt seem to let me take one while in cube thing sad.gif so ill just post the immage from google you can change the transpearancy of the cube. the background in which the cube is displayed and the background and settings individually on each of the desktops. only downside that i see is that all the icons have to be on every desktop but you can move them arround individually so i just shove all of them that i dont want to use on that particular desktop in a corner on top of eachother so it doesnt look like they are there at all. and as far as i know its freeware so its yours forever ohmy.gif you can get it Here

Does anyone else use one? or anything similar?

i know there are a billion others that work on xp but i havent tried them all (just untill i found one that works on vista smile.gif ) this one but this is by far the coolest seeing as it has a 3D model lol. if it doesnt work on XP then you can search wikipedia for virtual desktop and it will bring up a list of about 20 that i tried that are iffy iffy eah. like one you cant move the icons on one without moving them on all of them. and one is basicly just opening up groups of items at a time so its not really "different desktops" but you can try and install it. i dont see why it wouldnt work but then again i dont really fully understand why half the stuff from xp doesnt work on vista and some does besides that its a diff OS. lol

Enable the unsupported ati driver, Beryl works fine on my x1950 with it.

I kinda used to do this when I used Parallels Desktop on my MacBook Pro. It'd have mac on the one, and rotate the cube to show windows.
