Many of you often complain of being unjustly frozen, and as you all are aware, e-mailing the Neopets Team rarely does anything. Well, you can file a business complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Los Angeles area (http://www.labbb.org). I'm assuming that not many people know about this considering only about 300 have filed complaints. Anyway, I've filed countless complaints against Habbo Hotel and their spotty business, so I decided to do a search for Neopets and there it was.

Basically you have to fill out an online form and then the BBB sends it off to Neopets. Neopets will respond and if you are unsatisfied with the response you have a second chance with a rebuttal, but after that if you are still unhappy it sucks for you.

Good luck.

Thousands have filed complaints...I did once. All they do is respond to the BBB and say they won't help. Then it counts against them.

Neopets has always had a very negative ranking and couldn't care less.

There are only 300 complaints listed, and their rating is way above average.

Ange I think that only counts for NZ businesses. Doesn't count for international business. Your laws have no regulation over companies in America etc.

So, if you were unjustly frozen, is there no point in complaining? Imagine if someone brought this up to court or something... I wonder if they would accept the case

Because they flush the ratings after they're considered stale. There were about 3000 negative ones back in '04

No, a Business Bureau won't flush statistics. I'm almost certain you're mistaken.

Dude, I filed a complaint years ago and they never followed up. Their rating was super negative...maybe they inherited Viacom's rating or something...

    Here you go Urban:

The only reason there are 300 complaints is because this is for their premium account holders...they don't appear to be listed as their free stuff.

    Also,

Note that for 310 complaints, only 6 of them were resolved in a manner the customer appreciated. Yeah...super helpful, especially since they were just refunds for frozen people.

149 - Agreeing to Perform to their contract.
That could refer to unjust freezings which were resolved.

I don't think the 3,000 unresolved ones were 'just'. If you were unjust like giving your sibling or friend 400k neopoints then they would have to re-consider. But if you're refreshing five billion accoutns at 1 millisecond I doubt they would..

I just filed my 3rd complaint with Habbo Hotel this time threatening to take it legal. They won't refund my credits/furniture that was stolen in the huge .com moderator hack. I swear to god, what assholes.

    well, 100 million? that's a little unbeliavable.

owell. i got frozen for submitting my accounts to a fake source. when i emailed them, they asked me to reply from my email that i've registered. Obviously the hacker had changed my email, but when i told them, no, they didn't believe me.

i'm kinda sure my reason for getting frozen is one of the dumbest there ever is.

About 2 years ago my best account got frozen. They think I scammed someone. It happened like an hour after I sold all my items in the shop. I made about 2,000,000NP from all the items.
