So I was just having a little conversation with my landlord, she's a chinese woman, and she has a son. he's 16. She was getting me to try some things with the router and whatnot, and was telling me about how she sometimes fights with her son, because he spends so much time on the computer (I think it's maplestory too!!! D: lol)

he's got 2 computers, and I'm no computer nerd.... but I tells ya... thems look pretty fanceh... huge flatscreen monitor things, everything.

She's sad because she doesn't like fighting with him, he's 16, and doesn't barely eat or sleep, and he's always on the computer....

She even told me that sometimes he SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR in the computer room.


and true enough, I looked over to my right, and there was a pillow with a blanket on the floor. XD


now, he IS asian... so I think some of that is expected of him...... but seriously. being so addicted that what little hours you force yourself to sleep, you do it on the floor, not a foot away from your computer???

I was wondering. you're all nerdly and the likes, what's the worst you've ever gotten to in relation to addiction to the computer? have you ever, persay, hit rock bottom and slept on the floor? XD or have you discovered yet another layer of earth beneath the rock bottom, and dug yourself a little nest in there?

My Laptop lives in my bedroom... so I always sleep near it

My sophomore year of college, I was so addicted to games that I would stay up until 7 am playing them, then sleep til about 11 or so...had to drop a couple morning classes because of that crap.

I used to be so addicted I would stay up until about 6:00 in the morning...I had to be at work at 10:00 in the morning

I sleep near my computer too. It's on a desk, about 8 feet from my bed. *shrug*

Well my computer is in my room and the bed is about 6 feet away from it, it's on this cool desk that has a little opening bit on a hinge so I feel like a receptionist heheh......So anyway if I litterally game until my eyes are closed, I have this ultra comfy and ultra pricey bean bag I got *wait for it* from a department store!1!!

haha so I can slide out of my chair and onto the bean bag, though once or twice I have missed it and smacked my head

That's crazy. I'm not that bad. For months and months I used to go to my room for bed around 10, then stay up til 4 in the morning on msn.
I couldn't get that addicted.. I'm too lazy even to Facebook properly. If someone adds me, they add me. I don't go round searching for people Having said that, I quite obsessively check my emails since I got the gmail ap on my phone..

My computer's my tv and it's in my room. So basically, if I'm not online or watching tv I'll be playing drums or out.. but most of the time it's computer for me. Except for weekends or friday nights. |But now that I'm not allowed to go out in the week.. leaves my after school time to computer time.

Im somewhat extreme, im on the comp from 1:30pm-1am on week days, and like 1pm-6am on weekends/holidays

1 computer, 2 monitors (one used also for xbox). Xbox under them. Laptop next to xbox. Ipod speaker other side of xbox.

in this room I'm living in, the desk is right beside my bed. I can roll off my chair into my bed.

it was easier in my dorm room in japan though, I could just shift over a little and be in the bed. XD

my desk faces away from where my tv is, so I have a mirror that I prop up on the desk right beside my laptop, so I watch tv through the mirror while using the computer. >__>

I work as a computer programmer (so am in front of one computer at least 40 hours a week)

At home in my living room i have 2 mini-towers (vista and solaris) a file server and a playstation 3 networked together along with a wifi network connecting my laptop and mobile phone into the mix for when i'm not in my living room LOL (so at home i'm in front of another computer for at least 40 hours a week)

I quite often use my laptop from my bed and have fallen asleep still on there LOL

Two summers ago that was pretty much me -- Halo and Lineage 2 all day, getting up only to eat (I ate in front of the computer after making my meal) and to go to the bathroom.
