80 bucks, and you get a mic (for all our cs games and msn chats wink.gif)

I'd get you some links on other sites but JB Hi-Fi is being a bitch.

I bought a pair of $40 sound reducing headphones a while back...they lasted for a few months before quality got bad, so I bought a pair of $10 sound reducing headphones and got a warranty on 'em. To put it simply: try to find ones that have the noise reducing option. They kick ass ^-^ I can't use normal headphones anymore, heh.

But other than that, I know little about specific brands...

You want headphones, sennheiser is your brand.
They can get a little expensive, but you get more than your moneys worth.

Yeah..the iPod headphones were so awful that I didn't even -use- them. In fact, I tossed 'em out. They couldn't stay in my ears at all, and the sound quality was horrible...even by -iPod- standards.

I tried using them for a bit, but they couldn't handle my songs and so the one broke, leaving a nasty crackle everytime I turned it up to the point where I could actually hear something.

Now I use these babys: http://www.discountd...2/cx300-blk.jpg

If you're going for looks, I'd look at SkullCandy.. they have really nice ones and the sound quality is more then good enough.

Those are the best in-ear headphones I've ever used, and they're pretty cheap (comparatively). Now, you start getting into ear surrounding headphones, you can get into 300-500 dollars US, and thats damn expensive in AUS$. It depends on what you're using them for, but the bose ones I listed are damn good for casual music listening.

You and Icey linked the same thing xD I had V modas but they're really fragile so I don't advise them though the quality is pretty good.
And I heard skull candies are shit, so I don't exactly advise that (isn't it just a fad?)

I've had a pair (skullcandy) and apart from losing the buds (the pack came with extra ones or they could be bought) they were fine and reasonable for their price.

I have a cheap (15) pair of Belkin earbuds (with the squishies on the end, makes the bass go BA BOOM).

    They haven't broken yet.

I used to use Sennheisier HD595's which I loved, but them I broke the cable (wasnt obvious that I did it, but I know I did) so I RMAed the headphones and Sennheiser never sent anything back 1we8.gif after that I ended up buying Sennheisier PC166's which sound good too.

You should get the Versa bluetooth ear buds. They might be out by Christmas, I'm not sure. They are earbuds that are completely wireless. No wires at all. They just sit in your ears, completely separated. I think you get the point. Here's the link. http://news.softpedi...-on-12289.shtml
