Because of how many there are out there I won't make a poll.

My favourite mythology would be of course..wait umm I can't really make a descision so I will just list the one that I like out of Mythology. My favourites are Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Chinese, and Norse Mythology

What are yours?

Favorite? Hard between Greek/Roman [they're similar] and Egyptian

    Followed by Chinese close behind.

Norse is interesting, but not 'up there' happy.gif

    =)

Well, it's not really scary since the popular ones are usually taught in class OR we are exposed to them in media. How?

Roman/Greek mythology in Hercules, Xena? What about Egyptians all over the place?

Chinese because they are such a large group of people.

    Norse because Beowulf now.

=/ They have the most public attention, so it's not surprising.

Don't use your words to make a fool out of me Lol. Just joking. I see your point of view on why it doesn't seem scary. It is true how the popular mythology are taught in class or exposed by the media. I don't have anything to state against you so I will just agree for the time being. hahaha. (Watches Teddy Closely).

I happen to prefer Egyptian mythology; when a Christian told me that -any- faith is better than -no- faith, it was the only one that seemed logical to me. Didn't last too long, 'cause I eventually rationalized out of it....but it neato for a while.

Beowulf is actually Old English, but it's set in Scandinavia. wink.gif

The Bible has some interesting mythology in it I think but I also like some Greek stuff too.

Norse, simply due to the fact that Odin is the ass smasher of all gods. Otherwise, Roman/greek is pretty awesome.

To quote an acquaintance "Mythology is awesome! All they do is kill eachother and have sex!"

I didn't know they included me in a mythology.

Edit: Forgot to make my on-topic comment. Egyptian for me. I'm not sure why, but I find the egyptians quite interesting.

I love Greek/Roman and Egyptian mythology.... because those are the ones I know most about. XD

I have a secret softspot for Norse mythology... which I researched after I discovered Thor as a youngster. But I also find babylonian mythology fascinating.

Christianity isn't interesting. They intentionally leave out information about their god tongue.gif

I guess, but it's not approuched as myth as much as ancient religions has, as ancient religions don't have any/much follower anymore.
