There's 2 people. Call them H and Her,and they went all the way... If Her was anorexic once, and her period stopped, and she doesn't get it any more, and H and Her had sex, could Her get pregnant?? REALLY would like an answer soon...

Her had sex, her can get pregnant, simple as that.

I don't see how her eating disorder has anything to do with the chances though.

    QUOTE
Fertility is generally compromised in the low weight phase of anorexia nervosa and for some women with bulimia. However, fertility often returns rapidly with recovery, and some women conceive before their first returning menstrual period. In unpublished data from the first thousand patients treated at the Wilkins Center, a majority of sexually active patients with eating disorders had had an unintended pregnancy. The caveat is that women with eating disorders should assume that they are fertile, despite absent or inconsistent menses, and use reliable contraception if they do not wish to become pregnant.

Women who are fully recovered from their eating disorders appear to have the same age at onset of first pregnancy, frequency of pregnancy, and total number of pregnancies. However, a group of patients with mild or ongoing eating disorders experienced fertility problems.

Sounds like a trip to the doctors could be a good idea.

While it's possible that her anorexia could have stopped her period I wouldn't bet on it. Tell her to take a freaking test and get it over with. What other advice do you need?

Tell them to go to the doctors and seek professional advice and fast. It's best to have a professional opinion on these matters. If they're old enough to have sex, they can a) tell their parents or b) go to the doctors themselves and explain the situation.

Also, tell H to wear protection, for shits sakes.

    *joins the chorus*

Tell them to take a pregnancy test. >.>

    And she should see a doctor anyway if her period's stopped for any reason. ; ;

So: GO TO THE DOCTOR. TAKE A PREGGERS TEST. USE PROTECTION.
Not necessarily in that order, but...

theoretically if there's no period, there's no egg being produced... but theory isn't everything.

    pregnancy test: 5$ at walmart.

Are you H or the angry parent?

I had a report on this, a period is just the egg being expelled out of the body, it WILL go down the tubes before you have your period (you don't expel an egg before it leaves your ovary). Correct me if I am wrong, but that is what my report was, but it was a long time ago. Best of luck either way.

I thought that the period was the old eggs leaving the tubes.

And pregnancy tests are 15$ where I live =[

Anywho, you need to use protection, whether the pill, spermicide or a condom.

I'm 15, trying NOT to become an angry parent ;o
I was thinking... if there's no period (it hasn't come back yet) then shouldn't there not be an egg, as a period is when it gets rid of the egg?

BUT... I don't really think I finished... my blood pressure was extremely low. -_- This sounds really bad, but we were drunk, please don't judge dry.gif That's why I think I couldn't get my blood pressure up enough...

Yeah, if there's no period there's no egg being produced BECAUSE she's pregnant and girls don't release more eggs when pregnant. What happens is the girl releases the egg and in preparation for pregnancy the uterus lines with a soft flesh. If the egg fails to be fertilized the egg leaves the uterus often dead as well as the uterus lining being ripped from the walls as well as a lot of blood. Ever wonder why it hurts so much?

And here's a suggestion: If you can't trust yourself to act responsibly and use protection if you're in a situation where you could have sex don't get drunk. Unless you want a little Pomroy hanging around that is.

You can get somebody pregnant without ejaculating, best just to take a pregnancy test/see the doctor to be on the safe side in my opinion.

tongue.gif I'll be fine... Thanks... but she hasn't had a period in like... over a year? 1we8.gif That explains why it hurts so much though...
I can trust myself enough I suppose. This is probably going to result in a "obviously you can't" post though xD

Yes absolutely and tell her to take a test as soon as possible. The more you let it hang over your head the more stressed you will be. If she's not pregnant then you have nothing to worry about anymore and if she is... you know now instead of being unsure. Doing it no matter the outcome is better than sitting around. It's better to know than avoid it.

    so very true!

She was hospitalized for it... the anorexia I mean. They already know about it.

EDIT: Ok I was talking to her for like... over an hour. She said that she doesn't regret it, just that we both would've liked it to be a better setting. tongue.gif

Both of our first times, btw...

And um... yeah. Her sister knows now and she's gonna kill me. She says. ;o She's a year younger, and says that SHE was supposed to be the first to do it? tongue.gif I was like... oh. xD
