Well I saw some really good features of Vista... I think Microsoft's marketing was crap for Vista. A lot of the features that Mac has in Leopard, Vista has too. For example, Time Machine is in Vista, but people may not know about it. Both operating system kernels had shadow copy included in them so that snapshots of a particular file were made automatically. It's a pretty neat feature that Microsoft just wasn't able to market correctly.

That would be because they are not targeting it towards people who care about that stuff. Sadly they just want the general populace to buy there latest product. People that have limited knowledge about how PCs function.

I'm tempted to get sp3 but I'm scared I'll screw up my computer and have to reformat or possibly go back to linux if I can't find my windows cd again.

I hate change, i'm extremely anal about order, and I despise change.... it took me a LONG time to get used to XP, and I will NEVER use vista. D:<
I hate how they changed the layout of IE too.
I hate change, so i will never switch to vista or Linux or a mac, same as I will never switch to firefox or opera or whatever.
