Say what you want about Putin, there is A LOT to be admired about the man. His life story seems like something from a Tom Clancy book.

I won't lie: I love Russia, and I love Putin. There's a strong desire in my heart to leave America and go to Russia, regardless of how much 'better' America may or may not be. I love the accent, I love the weather....bah, I love Russia in general

Putin is stern, but I'd rather my leader be completely serious and ready to follow up what he says than be the bumbling, retarded clown that no one but the biggest of morons still think can get it done. A leader doesn't -need- charm and humor; that's just something that the masses gorge themselves on every four years instead of focusing on politics. If we'd grabbed our leader in 2000 based on political sense instead of charm, we wouldn't be sitting on a massive debt with child care being pinned down, illegal immigration being the 'biggest' issue, a disaster that was handled terribly, and a war that we went to on false information.

Gimme Putin over Bush any day When I first heard about Putin's move in Iran, I felt like saying 'Oh snap!'. Bush sat there blubbering and stuttering and trying to gear the country for war on false info -again-, and Putin just stepped in and, amazingly, -spoke- to Iran without threatening them. Awesome how that works.

What country doesn't do stuff or didn't do stuff. Yes they signed a non-aggresion pact with Germany or whatever it's called and they did alot of bad shit but that was a while back and alot worse stuff has been done.

Also their goverment is federal presidential republic. It has a president followed by a prime-misister

Haha, it doesn't. Well, in the days of the Soviet Union, the USA wanted you to believe that.

Putin seems like a serious guy that can get the job done without any needless distractions. He does seem the type though that wouldn't mind sacrificing human rights for the overall good and progress of the country, and what I said strikingly resembles the Soviet Union. I guess we'll see.

America is quick to point fingers at him for "political oppression" but its really bullshit, most of the people thrown in jail are extremist reporters.
