Given a few recent comments, I was wondering what people actually do think about me, my attitude and my posts.
I confess, I do tend to operate under the assumption that people find my posts at least a little entertaining. If this is universally not the case, perhaps I may need to reconsider my habits.
I do think, though, that I generally avoid posting where I have nothing to say, and where I do have something useful to contribute I rarely, if ever, withhold it on purpose. I know I'm a little confrontational, but never without good reason. I can hold a grudge like a fifty pound note, but, again, never without good reason.
Perhaps if you often find yourself on the wrong end of my tongue, you should consider why this may be, because unless I'm messing around, it's likely you've pissed me off. I'm not by any measure trying to say that everyone should tiptoe around me on eggshells in fear of setting me off... that'd be no fun at all. But don't, however, just assume it's because I'm an irrational, bad-tempered fool. I am none of those things (well, sometimes I can be bad tempered).
Anyways, I'm going to be offline probably until about 6-7pm GMT, so no fears of me flaming in retaliation, and thus I hope this can stay open. Do try to keep civil tongues, I would quite like to not find all the valuable opinions invisible by the time I get back.
