Yes, some people honestly DO live in igloos. But they don't have internet, so for all rights and purposes, they're not real.

Does each providence have a certain number of representatives??
Each Province (and Territory) has a specific number of members in the House of Representatives. These can be made up from any political party, and the one with the highest number is made the government leader. You can vote in your 'riding' for one of the candidates running there. That's it. You either choose the person you think will run your riding the best, or vote for the person whose party you want to win (hopefully the same, hopefully conservative
If the ruling party controls more than 50% of the seats in the House, they have a majority government, and pretty much any decision they make goes ahead. If the ruling party controls 50% or less, they have a minority government, where any ideas will be up to the discretion of the other parties as well.
HOWEVER, on important issues, the ruling party in a minority government will consider it an 'of-confidence' vote. This means that if it fails to pass the House vote, the minority government will be declared in 'No-Confidence' and then we'll have another election. Some of the smaller groups want to prevent another election where they'd just lose again, so they side with the ruling party, and work still gets done.
