I wouldn't mind paying up. lookaround.gif
But what if your dump takes more than 15 minutes and the doors just open on you?

that would def suck. Seems like quite a bit of unnecessary water wasting going on in there.

    D: I wouldn't want to be stuck in a bathroom for 15 minutes. ; ;

You can let yourself out before the time's up, right?

Can someone else steal your bathroom time? (Like parking meters...)
If there's time left on the bathroom usage, someone else can use it?

Now, when the 12 minute warning sounds and the lights start flashing to let you know you only have three minutes left, is there a coin slot on the inside to extend your time?

Because it would suck to have to either go with your pants down, or pull 'em up before you are done, step outside, put another coin in, then go back in to finish =P

Wow...that's awesome. Odd, but awesome. tongue.gif Mmm yeah I'm wondering if there's a way to increase the time as well if you need it. Most people don't take over 15 minutes to go I would hope. tongue.gif

I don't think there's a way to increase your time....if you watched it all, it cleans it after you leave....and on what they showed of the inside panel, they didn't have a way to increase the time. They did have a button to let you out early though!

I really like how it cleans after each person. I'm always disgusted by public restrooms. sad.gif I try really hard to not use them.

I saw this on the news last night and the news caster made a pretty good point that each bathroom costs $100,000 so you could just give this money to someone who actually needed it like a single mother who could take it and support herself for a few years rather than use it to waste it 1we8.gif.

Yes, that's true. That $100,000 could of been used for much more important things. I think people should just take it easy on the water when walking or driving or make sure that they go to the washroom before leaving their house. After all, $100,000 is a lot of money to spend on something not so important.

They've had these in France forever, and I love 'em. For real, it's amazingly clean and definitely worth the quarter. I think they're called 'Bullets' or something in Europe. But I guarantee you the government isn't losing money off these things, they're making money and making it seem like it cost an assload. It's like how parking spaces at my University cost the university $10,000 to make per spot, but they end up profiting off of it within 5 years.

I thinks it's nice but I have a feeling that some people might just go in there to do drugs or something.

Um, how does it know that you've left? I mean there's very few people who'd want to stick around while a toilet is being washed, but I don't recall them saying something which detects if you've actually left or not.

Not a bad idea though, I try and avoid touching the doors if possible.

Supposedly there is a button to press to leave early. Keep in mind that it has to open the doors, for you to leave tongue.gif

Yes, but who says you leave? I mean you press button, then forget that you've left your bag over by toilet. Go to pick it up and the doors shut to do the cleaning thing... Or some little jerk wants to watch the loo cleaning and drowns (coolest darwin award ever?)

Well, I'm sure it would give you time to get out xD . Perhaps it has something that detects people leaving as well, you wouldn't want a door closing on someone.

If someone drowned themselves watching the toilet clean itself, they'd have it coming, or would have offed themselves some other way by that point tongue.gif

it's very easy to drown in small amounts of water, plenty of people have done it in puddles or similar. All it takes it to be unconscious for more than 10 mins, and face down in like 5cm (about 2 inches) of water. And with the way that stuff was whooshing all around in that loo, there'd be enough water for it to happen.

what a way to go.... drowning in a public toilet. sad.gif
