blink.gif I think it's very relevant regardless of how long ago it was.

What I'm saying Freak is that it has nothing to do with his current health plan tongue.gif Basically what he wants is to try to help solve the problem at the start at least for high health costs. For example obesity costs billions of dollars in health care every year. He wants to concentrate on trying to get people back into shape which in my opinion makes sense as it'll be cheaper for everyone. I think a lot of things would be non-issues if we solved the problem but not the symptoms like abortion. I think abortion wouldn't be so heated as there wouldn't be so many if people just learned to practice proper birth control or just didn't have sex if they aren't responsible enough. So him saying something stupid about AIDS that long ago (not to mention unfortunately a lot of people were very ignorant about the subject sad.gif They shouldn't have been but they were. Even nurses back then wore gloves and face masks during home treatment when they were just around the patient when they didn't need to.) doesn't matter currently to his plan. It's not something to throw away though, I'm not saying that. But it's irrelevant to if I like his plan or not.

EDIT: Wow. Sorry for the wall of text.

Honestly, you shouldn't vote until you actually care enough about a certain candidate to so you have the right idea. cool.gif If anyone tells you that it's UnAmerican to vote kindly refer them to the "Douche or Terd Sandwich" episode of South Park.

    Exactly!
I could give a SHIT about politics right now, which is why I do not vote right now. So I totally agree with your comment. Hehehe. I have had teachers get all pissy sounding when they find out people do not vote. Whatever. They all old. >.>

I turned 18 right before one of the last elections, so i got to vote in it.

not much of a big deal... I didnt really knaw any of the names on the ballot... I just voted like the rest of western canada does.... conservatively. (I sure as hell wasnt about to wast my vote on the green party)

So basically you don't know who you're voting for but since your province and nearby ones vote conservative you will too? This is why democracy is stupid.

I don't think I'll vote, I have the choice of 2 parties that won't make it (green and ndp), a party that wants to make it easy for quebec to seperate, and then there's a party that steals and a party that does what america wants it to. We're either going to be led by conservatives or liberals and either way I don't care. Both have major flaws and both do some good. Conservatives want to recude wait times in hospitals, make a dna databank for sex offenders and be tougher against child pornography while liberals want to put more empashis on college/university and they made a childcare program. Though I might vote for ndp though it won't make a difference

    Marijuana never killed anybody...

I don't like Huckabee. He would not make a good president. He has SO much shady history. I think it's the easiest to find dirt on him than any other candidate, including Giualini.
He says the stupidest things too. Just panders to voters...
    QUOTE
"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do -- to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."

Last thing we need in our government is another "noble", extremely religious, politician =/ at least he wants to abolish the IRS lol

if any of you knew the problems Canada has between the east and west coast, you'd understand why I vote conservative.

I'm not here to argue my political views. D:<

Not really. You already said you vote conservative because it's what everyone else in Alberta does. Simply, the only reason everyone votes conservative in Alberta is because the conservative party does a lot for your province.

That and there is the total lack of another decent party. laugh.gif

I'd actually vote for the green party if they'd develop a stronger all around approach to politics. Environmental awareness is high on my list of concerns these days tongue.gif
