Also, about the pet level question for wars and such, level 50 is a popular level because of the Bersek move. You should have good a decent weapon set too. One healer, one freezer, one stealer(?) and defense/offense weapons.
I can't really specify what weapons, the choice is yours. Just make sure they're decent. 7 icons minimum for offense/defense. That's about as much as I can remember.
I kind of wanna try making a guide.

Also, there are opponents for every pet, they start at super easy and then get harder with each new opponent. Just make sure you have good weapons, well-rounded stats, and the good fairy abilities.

You could also use your heavily trained pet to fight the challengers for their Avatars!
Which is what I'm going to do.

you are correct... at the current, i only have 225+ (not saying exact amounts of course)
some are retired, and if you count the petpet avys and game avys i *might* be able to reach like 250-ish... but that's pushing. and would be a lot of work

So if I train my pet past level twenty... it won't drop me back to level one?
HMMMMM.
Maybe I'll invest in this plan.
Do you have a source for the tip?

of course he doesn't...
the lab ray is completely fricking RANDOM.

Oh, well then, damn. I'll just use it to zap one unlucky pet. Every damned day until forever. XD

You can always join the fad and pick up a round of NeoQuest.

I tried neoquest once, and I thought it was an absolute dreadful bore. It's too slow for my liking. Click which direction you want to go in. Wait for the page to load. Click again. Wait.
That is irritating. Or maybe I was doing it wrong. :\

Nope. You are absolutely CORRECT.
NeoQuest is an ULTIMATE BORE. And it's EXTREMELY IRRITATING. But you spend so long trying to get those Avatars... and when you finally do, Oh the victory will feel so very sweet.
So far I like NeoQuest 1 much, much better, but there isn't a trainer for it.

I only finished neoquest 1 once and even that was boring to me ... but yes did like that fact that you are rewarded with neopoints.... still took too long though but did get a trophy and avatars so it can't be all that bad lol

There's 3 challengers that you have to beat as many times as you can. That's it.
