I really hate this plot, though I said that about every plot whenever I was confused about something ... heh oh well!

No this one is the worst, This step is annoying having to use other people >.<

Wow. Whoever was in the room has not checked Jellyneo for a tutorial or anything. I left. Does ANYONE want to make a new room (if you know what you're doing and are serious about getting this shit done)?

tongue.gif working with other people angers me, lmao.

Whoa, looks like I missed a lot here.

Just checked out the next phase of the plot and all I can say is WTF!

First things first....what do I do with the 'Heat Test'? I clicked on it and gathered that I need to create some rods from the scrap...but it doesn't say what rods or what is needed to make them.

I though Neopets was aimed at the 'younger generation'.....this is the 2nd part the plot that would be impossible for a kid to do.

you need to calculate the mass of every compound in each piece.

Example of the first piece in the picture:

    Mass: 3.1 kg
    Composition:
    - 35.5% Kadoatite
    - 32.3% Xweetite
    - 32.3% Dariganium

    Calculating:
3.1*0.355=1.1005=1.1 (you need to round to the nearest)
    3.1*0,323=1.0013=1
    3.1*0,323=1.0013=1

Do this for all ten pieces. Yes, it's lots of work, but we haven't found an easier way yet.

Results for my picture (I'll shorten the names of the metals up to first 3 letters):
    Piece 1: 1.1 Kad, 1 Xwe, 1 Dar
    Piece 2: 1.8 Zaf, 2 Neo, 0.4 Xwe
    Piece 3: 0.5 Mer, 1 Neo, 1.9 Fae
    Piece 4: 0.8 Mer, 0.7 Kad, 0.6 Neo
    Piece 5: 1 Xwe, 2 Dar, 1 Neo
    Piece 6: 1.8 Kad, 0.4 Tyr, 2 Slo
    Piece 7: 1.4 Slo, 1.9 Xwe, 2 Fae
    Piece 8: 0.1 Xwe, 0.3 Neo, 1.4 Fae
    Piece 9: 1.1 Xwe, 0.3 Dar, 1.5 Neo
    Piece 10: 0.9 Neo, 1.1 Tik, 0.4 Zaf

3-1) Now group your data for each metal, like this:
    Meridellium: 0.5, 0.8
    Faeryllium: 1.9, 2, 1.4
    Xweetite: 1, 0.4, 1, 1.9, 0.1, 1.1
    Zafarium: 1.8, 0.4
    Neopium: 2, 1, 0.6, 1, 0.3, 1.5, 0.9
    Dariganium: 1, 2, 0.3
    Slothite: 2, 1.4
    Tikium: 1.1
    Tyrannium: 0.4
    Kadoatite: 1.1, 0.7, 1.8

3-2) Then, look at the following numbers:
    Meridellium: 0.7
    Faeryllium: 5.3
    Xweetite: 1.9
    Zafarium: 1.8
    Neopium: 4.4
    Dariganium: 5
    Slothite: 1.1
    Tikium: 2.5
    Tyrannium: 3.6
    Kadoatite: 3.3

And your task is to find one or more numbers from step 3-1 that add up to the corresponding number in step 3-2. Do it like this:
    Meridellium: 0.5 and 0.8 can't add up to 0.7 - not what I need
Xweetite: there's one "1.9" which suits me
Zafarium: there's one "1.8" which suits me
    Slothite: 2 and 1.4 can't add up to 1.1 - not what I need
    Kadoatite: 1.1, 0.7 and 1.8 can't add up to 3.3 - not what I need

You need to do this for all 10 metals, though it's not possible right now because we don't have the numbers for all 10 metals. But if you find numbers that suit you, go on.

    4) Find the required pieces. In my example, I figured out that I can take either the piece with 1.9 Xweetite (that's piece 7) or the piece with 1.8 Zafaruim (that's piece 2). Choose any of them. If you have a sum of pieces, make sure their total mass is not more than 10 kg.

    5) Press "Melt" and wait 180 seconds. If you're successful, you'll get the following message:

*BZZT* Congratulations! You have successfully created a nuclear reactor control rod, made from ***. This rod can now be added to the globally available pool of control rods used in testing Duplicate Space Faerie Tokens.

If so, congratulations! Now you may do something else, or repeat smile.gif

    Alternative method
After you get to the page with your picture, choose one metal, for example, Faerillium. Calculate the masses for it in the pieces where it is present, just like we did in the step 2 in the first method. Then see if any of them are equal to the required number (or can be added up to the required number) (step 3-2 in the first method). If you find a match, use it. If you don't, choose another metal and continue. That's basically the same method, but you don't need to calculate all 30 values, because you'll most probably find the match earlier.

    *sorry such a long post*

o____O;;;;; I want to stab myself if I have to do all of this multiple times.

Well damnit, I'm going to find this damn token. Anyone care to help? Right now I'm trying to create a control rod but Jellyneo's little calculator is a little confusing to me... I'm not really sure what to do with all of this :\

Can you ACTUALLY find the real token by doing the testing with other users? Or do you have to do all this other crap first?

Ok, i have a dumb question - however, i am mathematically challenged wink.gif

I have been staring at this : making Dissolution Acid screen for over an hour..it says :
*BZZT* A metallic compound composed of Kadoatite and an oxygenating bio-solvent has been provided to you, in addition to a Sloth Industries Omni-Chemical Acidifier Kit. Your goal is to produce a usable quantity of acid for the purpose of testing the acidity resistance of Duplicate Space Faerie Tokens. The compound will be submerged in a dissolution solution for a specified number of seconds in order to produce a usable quantity of acid. The compound must be submerged for a precise number of seconds or it will decay and become useful only as a filling for processed snack cakes. The compound has been formed into a perfect cylinder with a length of 495 mm and a cross-sectional radius of 179 mm. Kadoatite has a density of 4.6 g/cm3. Please select a number of seconds to submerge the compound.

My question is: What do I do with these numbers? Add the length and radius then divide by density to get the seconds?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I have no idea what in tarnation to do with this garbage blink.gif

I'm trying to figure out what to put in for the calculator on JellyNeo for the metal/rod creation part-thingy. It says Part+ Mass and percent but it's not really clear for me. Maybe I'll do it the long way.

The group thing, for sure. It's so simple. I don't try on the rod creation just yet, though I saw someone advertising a petpage with a formula to do it. It might be here in this thread somewhere too.

But I'm lazy :\ and it won't really help to find the real faerie token, so....

what you do is take the first part pictured...put the mass into JN calc - for percent...choose the first metal percent listed put that in percent slot.

Then..find another part with that same metal...repeat process where it says part #2 do that for each part that has that particular metal in it...

Once you have all the parts with that metal input into calculator, hit submit. it will give you a total. if that total matches for that metal in the chart..those are the parts you melt... if not..do that same process for each metal...make sense?
