I've seen them and I think they were great movies.
Btw, anyone heard any rumors about 28 months later movie? There have been rumors for a month or so about 28 months later coming out.
But lets talk about these 2 movies for now. pirate1.png

28 days later was much better than 28 weeks later in my opinion. 28 weeks later just seems too 'Americanized' with huge explosions and stuff, whereas the first one was more subtle. unsure.gif

Agreed. I had a feeling it was going to be like that when I went to see it. The first movie proved that you can make a great movie with very little money.

28 Months later is a stupid title....28 weeks was ok....but 28 months is just too predictable.

In March 2007, Boyle announced plans to create a third chapter of the film franchise, which will be given the title 28 Months Later with a 2009 release date,[33] thus creating a trilogy. Boyle has stated that his thoughts are to set the movie in Russia.[34]

Yeah, I liked the two movies as well. It's a nice twist on zombie films.. brings some sort of credibility as well as aesthetic cinematography into the films.

I hope that was a joke....just got you on my idiot list otherwise thumbsup.gif. As there was no suggestion it was....I'll take offence I think rolleyes.gif

I don't see how a comment like that was needed in a thread talking about a film.

28 months sounds a little too silly. What're they gonna do next? 28 years later? Or maybe, 28 days earlier?

Well, there seems to be a pattern:
28 days later, 28 weeks later, 28 months later, 28 years later, 28 centuries later, 28 decades later.
    Rofl, 28 decades later.. hmm... closedeyes.gif yahoo.gif blink.gif

28 Months later? Lol, I think 28 Days later was good enough. 28 Weeks later wasn't as good as expected.. it was more like Dawn of the Dead.

Well 28 days = 1 city, 28 weeks = 1 country, 28 months = 1 world tongue.gif. Pretty sure it's gonna stay a trilogy. Hopefully it's really successful so it encourages more zombie movies (I'm a fan of apocolyptic fiction tongue.gif)

I hope they don't take it too far. Three movies should be enough to give it a good ending....I can see it being along the line's of the virus actually wiping out humanity.

It wouldn't be the ending I would want personally...but that's the type of director Danny Boyle is.
