I havent really seen the spam that typhoon is talking about...if these spam rules come about then the board will have even less freedom..the scariest thing is to be warned for spamming because different moderators have different opinions on what spamming is...that makes more work for us admins when people complain and more removing warn and undoing a moderators actions which makes us less professional...

the allowed but not suggested is working fine...I want codex to be a community where you can talk about anything thats on your mind and its sort of insulting that people are calling that spam[b]. if there are spam rules then people will have to conform...itll be like boarding school all over again on codex which will make [b]MORE members leave if u wanna bring that into the picture...

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Hydrogen stated that he has changed (or maybe he said he will, I don't remember so dont quote me on that). Its blackhawk/gri'm reaper who is making Gri'm leave who is actually the only reason I stay here.

I don't think of pointless and annoying topics as spam, usually. I think of spam as a single pointless post is irrelevant to the issue at hand and is there for only the purpose of raising one's post count.

Well personally I think giving hi'm a 2nd chance is bullsh1t. No one should get a 2nd chance. Its also not my forums though. I really enjoy you all, its just Blackhawk being back has sortof ruined the atmosphere for me.

Is spam that big of a deal, out of say, 10,000 posts on this board, about 100 of them are spam. Just tell the person not to spam.

I've noticed more and more spam and less and less decent topics that have had some thought put into them. Hydro's said in Staff GC that there are no, and aren't going to be any, spam rules. I think this is, to put it nicely, pathetic.
If the rate of spam goes on that's all people will see here and valued members will leave, and I know that many have given up on Neopets so have no need to goto another Neopets cheating site.
So, do you think we should keep it where we don't have spam rules and become a crap hole, or have spam rules and go back to how we were in April ti'me, with quality posts?

it depends what u call "spam" like I was being called a spammer .cause heres the thing. If I Can make my posts short, saying the same thing as a long post, I'm going to do the short post, why make ur post longer and have it say the exact same thing?

I think you shouldnt stay just for one person...and just because one person was I'mmature enough to not give others a chance...that doesnt mean people should jump on the bandwagon...

also...how about our spam rule be that we allow spam but HIGHLY discourage it. people dont spam on purpose and those that do will be banned anyway, people spam because they dont know what it is...and when you tell them nicely to not do it again, they listen...they will just get pissed if you keep warning them...
