If you saw a group of kids, be it boys or girls, picking on one lone kid, be it physical or verbal and be it a boy or girl, would you jump in? Would you yell at them? What if the kid had a mental or physical problem? Would you jump in, or would you just sare a passing glance? If not you, then who? If not now, then when?

I know I would jump in because I have b4. However, if the guys are 8 times my size my typical technique is to call one of my bigger friends sad.gif

Situation is a little vague. If I thought that the lone person was in some sort of danger, I'd probably jump in.

I tend to have a very physical past, and have no shame in sticking up for what I believe. I would definitely jump in. Chances are high that if I put enough verbal pressure on the group they would coward out of any physical confrontation.

I got made fun of by kids, and I hated it. So I freaked out and disconnected. But freakiness and loneliness is good! Enjoy it.

Well since I'm hardly buff and am thought of as a clown in my school, I'm guessing no...

Well, right now I'm saying no but if the situation arose, I would jump in. wink.gif

Yes, I probably would jump in in any situation like that. If the kid had a physical or mental problem though, I'd probably get physical with those picking on the kid.

I'd tell em to back off and see what's up. It really depends on how the kid is acting, and what's the situation.

I would definitely jump in, especially if the kid had physical/mental problems, 'cause that's just wrong. Now, if they started it, I have no problems walking away. You ask to get your ass kicked, I'm not gonna feel sorry for you that it did. That goes double when you're stupid enough to taunt the guy (or girl) with lots of friends... beefy friends... who like hearing the sound *crunch*. tongue.gif

The Cookie Dragon says: Finally! I can log back in! Woot!

No. Never. Being picked on makes you hate people in general, makes you anti-social, and builds up a tolerance for emotional abuse. All VERY good things.

Hmmm, you make a good point. I'd have to revise my answer to only physical violence. If it's verbal, you need to learn to whup them soundly on their own turf or ignore them completely.

Can Gooba.Butt has a cookie too please?

I might have to step in if it's more than a 1v1 and it's physical. Maybe. 1v1, any man's game. 4v1 and that's just shitty.

I would probably jump in and be like "come on guys, just leave him alone" or something, but not much past that

I've jumped in before and would probably do it again if the reason for me to jump in was good. Though if it was a female, I wouldn't even hesitate

Exactly! If I was a jock or some shit, chances are I'd be hung over from some faggy frat party at UT Arlington.

The key for best results is to speak your mind as much as possible and be an individual. Nobody likes individualism, no, so theyll be glad to beat on you or avoid you at all costs.

I would jump in no questions asked. Even if it meant I got hurt in the process and even if I didn't know the person.

Two things I can't see and do nothing about are men hitting women and someone being hit while they are on the floor or semi concious from already being hit.

I would obviously try and stop what was going on verbally but if it comes to it then I would use voilence....but I stress, only to stop the situation escalating. I would never use violence to purposely hurt one of the other people.

Well yeah, fighting and beating are two different things. And I don't tolerate boy/man vs. girl/woman. I'd kick their ass for that shit.

I would probably just go on with life or say something along the lines of: "C'mon guys leave him alone"

Of course. It really hurts when no one will stick up for you. I used to get made fun of as a kid because I'm really pale but have very dark hair so my arms would appear more hairy even though I have the same amount of hair as everyone else. It feels so lonely when no one does that for you and you feel disconnected which ends up being okay for most children later but for some it can cause some severe emotional trauma. Just knowing that I may be able to prevent it just a little bit I'll help. It may save me a client in the future :\

I already know you will disagree / hate me, but I believe men should be able to fight women. They want to be treated equal right? Now I dont think that fighting them for no good reason is right, but yes

I think it depends on how you look at it. Martial arts would be a good scenario where a woman can kick a mans ass, ie Krav Maga.

Why? I used to be that kid who was getting picked on, and I always wished someone would come save my ass. kthx.

I would berate the perpetrators and save the poor victim, even if it meant me getting hurt or abused in one way or another. I wouldn't just stand and gawp. I would do something for sure.

If a women's got the balls to throw a punch, she's got the balls to take one.

Who wouldn't jump into to stop a fight or save a friend/stranger? If you don't, you're a coward.
