So I noticed for quite a while but last night I payed attention to it. The timer for the songs was messed. Every three seconds it would speed up the slightest bit to the next second but then it would be normal. So basically the songs were going about 1% faster than normal. I installed the new firmware updates and it works fine now.

Anyone else notice this?

My timing was fine I think, but the sound seemed a bit off lately, not sure if it's the ipod or my ears ;p

I've never noticed this before ... however, it has been some time since I used my iPod heavily for any kind of sound tongue.gif.

Well my ipod has taken to claiming it has no battery and switching off, then if you turn it on again it's perfectly fine. I used to go by the rule if it does it once it was a fault and if it did it twice it was actually out of juice. It does it more then just once now, it's getting pretty annoying x-x.

In saying that mine is one of the classic minis so is about 2 years old now so I can't really complain too much as I've used it a lot in that time tongue.gif.

My white iPod photo won't turn off once it has been fully charged tongue.gif. You charge it and you must use the entire battery in one sitting as it doesn't want to go to sleep tongue.gif.

I have the fat white one from a couple years ago. It doesn't even turn on anymore. And yes it's fully charged. Just shows a picture of a folder with one of those triangles with an exclamation mark inside.

I take it you've tried restarting it? tongue.gif I'm not sure if it works when it's trying to tell you it has no battery like.

The timing on mine is fine. Then again, mine is fairly new. The last one I had had a whole mess of problems. tongue.gif

Mmm do what michie said. Press and hold the middle button and the play/pause button for about 10 seconds. Everything SHOULD be good after that. tongue.gif

Isn't it Middle button and Menu? I think it is for my Mini anyway...

Hmm, it's middle and play/pause for mine. I have a nano. I guess they changed it? So it's probably middle and menu for him.

iPods are like the original mp3. The name is almost synonymous with the technology. I don't really like the other mp3 players either tongue.gif

The other day my Ipod repeated one part of a song. Other than that I haven't had any problems, though my Ipod is only like 2-3 months old.
