All right after a staff discussion, it was decided that there must be guidelines for General Debating. This has been in talks for quite a while now and it has been decided that it must be done. Effective immediately, here are the following guidelines that should be followed in this section:
  • Anything you say should be backed up when possible, meaning sources. For instance, if you're trying to prove that global warming is making all the penguins in the south pole go bat-shit crazy, you must provide where you received the information from. This goes for anything that is not your own wording too. Opinions are welcome though and do not require sources (obviously).
  • Bad conduct will not be tolerated at all. This means you can't go and insult someone because his/her views differ from yours. If you receive two warns in this section for bad conduct, your access to the debate section will be suspended for one month. After one month, you can ask for it back with assurances that you will not receive any more warns. Any more warns received after this will result in removed access from this section entirely.
Really just be civil when you post here. This is a serious section so a decent level of maturity is asked in all of you when you post.

Thanks :)
