Pros of this movie:
-The special effects are just astonishing. I haven't seen effects this good since the new King Kong.
-The action scenes are very nicely done.
-The story is pretty easy to follow.
-The landscape shots are amazing.
-The performances were average. Not good, but believable at least.
Cons:
-When there aren't action scenes, there are talking scenes. This wouldn't be so bad if the talking scenes didn't go on...and on...and on...
-Some of the dialogue is so amazingly corny, you have no choice but to laugh(and the dialouge isn't supposed to be funny either).
-The historical inaccuracies are just...wow...Now I'm no historian(meaning there might be even more inaccuracies I don't know about), but some of them are so obvious a 5-year old could point them out.
-The amount of creatures and dinosaurs in the movie were disappointing, since the advertising focused on them so much(over here at least).
Overall, I give it about a 7/10. I went into this movie expecting something amazing and I was very disappointed. In the end though, I would probably still recommend it to you all, just to check it out. This movie seems to be one of those movies some love and some don't love, so maybe I'm just in the latter category.
