I'm just thinking over whether it's worth training.
I'm confuzzled on how it works, but I thought that the boost only applied to when you select the option...and use an item with defense icons

Don't you lose less damage if your defense is higher?

the defense boost still applies when using a stance other than defense but at a different percentage. As well str boost still apply in defensive stance at a different percentage.
