Winston Churchill - The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.
Benjamin Franklin - Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
George W. Bush - A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it.
SimonTheMime - Americans live, breathe, eat, and drink the fruits of capitalism, and they've become fat and repugnant. The average American has little or no awareness on the exploitation its society inflicts on third world countries so that they can enjoy their materialistic luxuries.
Slogan (I think Marx) - 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his need'
A couple I have in a notepad of quotes

Bob Sweeney: There was a moment... when I used to blame everything and everyone... for all the pain and suffering and vile things that happened to me, that I saw happen to my people. Used to blame everybody. Blamed white people, blamed society, blamed God. I didn't get no answers 'cause I was asking the wrong questions. You have to ask the right questions.
Derek Vinyard: Like what?
Bob Sweeney: Has anything you've done made your life better?
"People look at me and see my brother." Danny Vinyard
Juror #10: "I beg pardon?" What are you so polite about?
Juror #11: For the same reason you are not: it's the way I was brought up.
Juror #10: Bright? He's a common ignorant slob. He don't even speak good English.
Juror #11: Doesn't even speak good English.
Juror #5: Boy oh boy, it's really hot, huh? Pardon me, but don't you ever sweat?
Juror #4: No, I don't.
Lester Burnham: Mine. 1970 Pontiac Firebird. The car I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!
Carolyn Burnham: Are you trying to look unattractive?
Jane Burnham: Yes.
Carolyn Burnham: Well, congratulations. You've succeeded admirably.

I learnt about conic sections in one of the last lectures before Easter. If she approached the moon at the right speed she could get pulled into it's gravitational pull and use it to sling shot herself across space, either by the path of an elipse, parabola or hyperbola. So I guess, as you would be heading for the moon anyway, if you missed it, she could be brought into orbit around it for a bit, except her orbit wouldn't be circular

again... provided you can survive space with a magical constant supply of oxygen...
Well -obviously- for that you just blow up a few balloons and strap them to your wrists, some are helium to aid your floating, others are air so you can breathe. Duuh. NASA came up with that years ago, read up on this sort of thing Cody.

Isn't it the idea that there's just nothing in space? I mean I guess there must be some kind of energy, what with all the heat the sun gives off and all the movement and everything, but as far as what we as humans can make use of with just ourselves, pretty sure all that happens is we die. No clue if what they go on about is true about you basically like...blowing up, it might just be something dramatic they put in sitcoms

I agree, to think of nothing, certainly to my mind, is to think of black, but oddly, I think of endless black, the same as I would were I to think of infinity. If it wasn't endless, something would have to take it's place, and then it wouldn't be nothing. I find it an impossibly hard concept to grasp, I mean, we never really see 'nothing', do we?

Benjamin Franklin - Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
You misquoted Benjamin Franklin, its paraphrased of David Hume.
My personal favorites:
"The whole is more than the sum of the parts" - Aristotle
"And you, old sir, we are told you prospered once." - Homer
"You cannot direct the wind, but you can adjust the sail" - Unknown
"True glory consists in doing what deserves to be written; in writing what deserves to be read." - Publius Syrus (I love it because its kind of recursive)
"It is from their foes, not their friends, that cities learn the lesson of building high walls." - Aristophanes
