    Old news is old.

But regardless, it's still fucking HORRIBLE. I can't stand seeing this shit.
There's a debate whether the puppy was already dead or not and if someone just edited in some sounds.
I doubt it though. I think it was still alive.

And this is why I hate people. I'm TOTALLY against animal abuse. sad.gif

That's a pretty shitty thing to do, under any circumstance.

Though I do find it interesting that people seem to automatically feel more sorry for a single puppy, then countless innocent civilians who live in rather terrifying conditions.

I'm a heartless person when it comes to people. They can do more harm than animals. *shrug*

well then again, the people can fight back, they just choose to be pussies about it.

a single dog isn't gonna do much against a soldier.

That's true. Some people do care about animals more then humans because they treat the animal as if it where a human. I guess in the end we just need to treat everything the same. No innocent person or animal should be thrown off a cliff for no reason.

I bet this kinda crap happens all the time, the only reason everyone is so upset is because it was video recorded.

I think we should focus more on innocents who die by war...?

I can't watch any of these videos... if they really do involve what you're saying, I'll probably cry. There is so much animal violence in the news. Yesterday, I heard of some people killing a pregnant sheep... sickening. In this case, why doesn't somebody throw the soldier off the cliff and see how *he* likes it.

I don't know about you guys but that looked like a dead dog to me. I think the person filming it made that weird yelpy noise. So basically I think they found the dead dog and out of boredom decided to chuck it off the cliff.

If it is real...yeah that's a fucked up thing to do but I don't think the guy deserves to die for it or anything.

Well people /are/ animals in my book... depending on how you're talking, that is. That puppy didn't know what was going on, probable never hurt anybody, and couldn't defend itself. People do, have, and can.

It's hard to explain, and I can't be bothered, but if anyone really can't understand, then it's probably a waste of time to explain.

Either way, who knows. Maybe there's a good explanation, like it was following them around making noise, and they were trying to be quiet or something...

    Not. tongue.gif

I guess the above scenario is possible (suggested to be by someone I know) but they seemed to be making a lot of noise in the video 1we8.gif

I thought it looked like a dead dog too, still unsure on that 1we8.gif

If it WAS a live dog, and I saw a video on the retarted ones over there throwing HIM off a cliff, I'd probably laugh at him. x

    I think I'm going to hell. smile.gif

    ...

Killing a pregnant sheep is fine. As long as they do it humanely, and for a decent reason...

In my books, anyways. The fact that it's pregnant doesn't really affect me. They SHOULD have waited for the kid, but then they'd have to wait even longer to kill the sheep cause it has to nurse the kid.

Now you have to remember, all types of media are biast and used in a particular form for some type of reason, so basically I can make a 100% judgement based on this clip, if it is real and the puppy was alive or dead, it's pretty sickening, but nothing to base the war in Iraq on or the soliders out there. There are bad apples in EVERY bunch.

And as for taking on a shark, a punch to the nose will make almost all sharks vunlerable and scared, pretty surprsing really, I actually know a guy who survived doing that (doing some speedo/Blacks promotion thing).

I think that whether the puppy was alive or not, what that soldier did was pretty sick.

I know it is probably hard to find something to entertain yourself with while you are at war....but how is throwing an alive/dead dog off a cliff entertainment? I'm sure the guy who did it thought he was really cool.....I say he is a dick.

I find it funny that some people agree with that statement for soldiers but refuse to do so in other circumstances whistling.gif I agree with you, Frizzle. This is nothing to judge people over.

Why does it matter if the puppy was dead or alive? It's a sick thing to do regardless and something he should be reprimanded for if he's still in service especially as it was videotaped. Probably the same type of kid that was always burning ants with a magnifying glass or stomping on whatever bug he could find. Some people literally have no idea the consequences of what they do.

I remember posting on a topic like this the other day. Army grunts do stupid things. This just happened to be noticed. Its still wrong, but the media likes to magnify things.
