The price is only high because it's an avatar item. People know that there are PLENTY of avatar collectors on the site, and if they want to have a (basically) complete collection, they're going to NEED to buy the petpet eventually.

SOOOO the greedy neopians spike the prices just because they can. Sickens me really.

Then it goes back to inflation of np in general doesn't it. If people didn't have 11mil np to blow on these they wouldn't be so high. Regardless of what any site or guide says, an item is only worth what you can get out of it.

    That's not greed. It's economics.

Greater demand on a fixed supply results in a greater price. Simple.

And of course, as another part of economics, if they don't sell well, or even at all, then the sellers will end up having to lower the prices eventually if they want to make any profit at all.

Point being, if you don't like them being at 11mil right now, wait for them to deflate back down a bit.

Arn't they retired now, or am I crazy? Isn't that why it shot up from the original steady 250k.

You edited your post I see, was just about to correct you.
However it's just Malevolent Sentient Poogle because it's not a plushie, it's a pet.

Malevolent Sentient Poogle Plushie (TCG) is the card name, and you get an avatar when you have it in your inventory.

    Not quite tongue.gif
If it's the pet, it's Malevolent Sentient Plushie Poogle, or an MSP Poogle.
If it's the card, it's Malevolent Sentient Poogle Plushie tongue.gif

Yup, there's some old codes (new ones are given out anymore) where you can still get them, but the number of them is dwindling. I know Brad was buying them to see if he could get mspp.

Do you know of any places you can buy the cards online Ange?

I'm guessing Ebay would be a good place to check.....but is there anywhere else?
