Ah, the QAL! (http://www.neopets.com/process_adopt.phtml?pet_name=PETNAMEHERE just for reference and to reminisce incase they scrap it) I sort of miss the thrill of refreshing over and over with the hope of "catching" a pet. I had that perfected as a fine art.

I would mostly just refresh like how I did for Avatar pets though, didn't want to have to deal with sitting on a board and pray to god I got picked, or having to fill out an application. Plus I always dumped the pets back into the pound when I was done with them, so whatev. >>

Ooh, yeah. If somebody was "giving away" an avatar pet, it was exciting to try and adopt it to (personally) get the avvie and lend the pet out to friends and others who needed the same thing. And people used to be so fricken demanding with petpage applications. >.>

The only thing I used the pound for was finding pets with petpets, detaching them, selling the petpets, and re-pounding pets.

One man's trash, after all....

I don't like adoption because I like having good names on my pets instead of like, "kawaiinaruto_12939483"
