I'm playing Team Fortress 2 with my headphones on and I hear the answering machine come on and my dad yelling something. So I go to pick up the phone and he's like "WE'RE STUCK IN ELEVATOR COME OPEN THE DOOR QUICK!!!!" So I go down and try holding the elevator button and the door doesn't open. My dad is cursing at this point so he's like "GO GET A PIECE OF WOOD AND OPEN IT ALEX DAMN IT" The door opened a little bit so I just pulled on it and it eventually opened and they got out.

Now my sister comes up to me and shes like "Stupid elevator! Bad Elevator! I got scared. The elevator batteries are broken."

You had to be there lol.

Wow, was he freaking out or are you overexagerating? tongue.gif. I would of let my dad sweat a bit, especially if he was screaming at me. Though I can't really see a situation like yours occuring.

I read about a situation like this on the hostgator blog when SL showed me. I haven't ever been stuck in an elevator before but it might be pretty annoying/scary tongue.gif.

I don't think its that scary, I mean you cant sufficate, and it's a phneumatic elevator, not on cables, meaning it wont crash. Imagine being stuck in a Soviet era elevator, everytime I was in one I was like praying...

I bet it was a humourous situation! I have never been stuck in an elevator. I'd probably be alright for a while, though.

If you do get stuck in an elevator, make sure it's not with a psychologist ohmy.gif He could mess with your head for fun.

Yea I probly would have turned up the volume. I'd hate to be stuck in an elevator though because then it would get hot and the other people would be freaking out and shit like that. I'd start thinking of the elevator in Resident Evil. Damn that would suck.

*Shudders* I was trapped in one when I was in New York a few years back. We were in there for about 10 minutes but a woman also in there got hysterical, wasn't a pleasant experience.

The elevators in my dorm hall are terrifying. There's a certain noise it makes before it's about to get stuck. There are telltale signs. First, the doors close and it doesn't move for 10+ seconds. Then, it makes a loud screeching noise. If you hear this, you quickly push the "OPEN DOORS" button and run like hell.

    Death traps, they are. @___@
