I just came back from a cardio + ab session. I'm never again doing ab work. It's just not worth it, most exhausting exercises for what? For when you take your shirt off in public once a year? Screw it. I hate abs.

So discuss working out, your schedule, what exercises you like, etc.
Did we have a topic like this recently? I cant rememeber.

    Abs are nice biggrin.gif.

I used to work on my abs till I got lazy. Now I do vertical jump exercises...

Really exhausting and good workouts for my legs wink.gif

yes i go to the gym 5 times a week.
Im currently doing the HST routine and it has shot up my arm 1/2 an inch in a few months. With of course a 3000+ calorie diet. Working out is 70% diet and 30% gym.
    I work ever muscle group.

The key to sticking to it is to do it for yourself... not other people. But of course it is nice when girls touch you saying how good you look tongue.gif.

Lawl. We've had many exercise/workout topics before.

I don't work out because the cost of the gym here just isn't worth it. I can't pay by the month, which is what I would like to
do. It's required to pay for THREE months at a time. I probably won't even be living in the same city in 3 months.
I would love to work out. I would go every day if I could. 1we8.gif

I know its sort of... odd, but you can work out without joining a gym. Weightless workouts do work. Not so well if you're trying to gain muscle mass, but definitely if you're looking to tone down or stay in shape.

Oh yeah. I know I can do it at home. Problem is I have stuff here that I have to do when I get home. So I don't even think about working out at the house. 1we8.gif
I'd rather have a controlled environment (nothing to distract me) with like treadmills and stuff. It's just hard for me to find a
    routine at home.

I work out about five to six times a week. At the moment, I'm working on both the side and full splits and on pull-ups which I've recently been lacking.

    I'm jogging lol.

Don't really have a regime for it, I do it whenever I feel like it, which is pretty much everyday.

Ja, Jack LaLanne started weight training before anyone else. He just made his own weights and his own gym outside. Most people can't do that, but calinsthetics works pretty well, esp for fitness people and agility people.

Did we have a topic like this recently? I cant rememeber.

Monday- Box Squat + Towel Bench
    Tuesday- Ladders, plyometrics, Biceps/Triceps
Wed- Cleans + Hex Bar Deadlift
    Thurs- Ladders, plyometrics, Biceps/Triceps
    Fri- Parallel Squat + Bench

There are other lifts in there, but those are the so called "Main lifts" on Mon/Wed/Fri, then there are "Auxiliary lifts" to do. I like to do the Power Cleans, probably my favorite exercise. I absolutely hate Hex Bar Deadlifts. Those are hell.

We have a topic like this every couple of months. It doesn't matter if you bring it up again, it is a reoccurring topic. smile.gif

    I used to be a total, utter gym bunny that couldn't stop working out. Then I recovered my Neopets password, became addicted to the site again, and stopped exercising and just became completely lazy. ;_;

Between the gym, walking all over the place to check out the floods (30-40km over the past 2 days?), ping-pong tournaments and yard work, I'd say I've worked out more in the past week than I have the 10 months prior (thank you very much university tongue.gif )

P.S - There is a HUGE ass spider in the room with me, just noticed it.

Well ever since the last one of these topics where I realised I couldn't even do one push up I've been trying to remember to do the box push ups to improve my upper arm strength, I don't do it very reguarly though tongue.gif. So no, I don't work out.

I used to workout everyday until my girlfriend got tired of me going to the gym all the time and not talking to her. =[

So yeah I usually workout 5-6 times a week and one rest day.
    Chest
    Arms
    Shoulders
    Legs
    Back
.... and Abs everyday + Cardio

I do Abs everyday because it really helps improve the sex drive. An advice to some of you. ;]
