Well they should have copies if they have any sense, so losing the originals isn't the worst loss in the world really. Still kinda poo I guess.

Black and whites in their original film. Sure, there's copies. You could probably get this stuff on YouTube.

You're being a bit melodramatic about the loss of some originals when something like a film, the copy will be identical except for sentimental value =S.

as long as there are torrents nothings lost so i fail to see why the loss of these originals is such a big deal
sure it might have some sentimetal value to the original filmers (or whatever u call those who make movies) and actormen but i fail to see how it matters to normal people who prolly saw the movie from a copy anyway.

I rather enjoy old movies to be honest...
And some films I enjoy aren't on DVD. I don't really know much about the storage they do for films... So perhaps they just keep one or two copies around...?
I wonder what all was lost, what can be recovered, and why the fire started in the first place. ...
I suppose I could look online but then... I'd have to stop being busyfaces. :<

Actually it isn't that hard..it's just a bunch of studio lots. You can just take a ticket and drive in lol. Sometimes you need to be on a list. But I think to get into that particular studio you can just drive into the parking lot.
