I wonder how many people (leachers) will find they can't log in and just not bother coming back. I guess some remotely active members may do the same.

Check your email Oaken. I mean check to make sure it's correct on the codex servers. Because if it isn't that would explain why it wasn't emailing you. I'm a little curious and concerned as to why you couldn't get the emails.

Yeah I used a different e-mail for the second account I had to make. I figured it wouldn't let me make another on my initial e-mail address.
How do I check that?

Can you check your spam folder? Any other ideas why it wasn't getting to you? Are you using some method where you have to manually check such as a POP account or something?
For a request to send an email? Nah, I doubt it.

There's nothing in my Junk folder. I'm not sure what a POP account is, sorry

I checked your email address and I don't think its pop.

It's definitely not pop then.
What are the implications of me not being able to receive the e-mails? Just curious as you do seem quite worried about it

I don't think there are many implications if you personally don't receive emails. I mean you come on the board pretty often and can just post about help requests here. But I'm worried about the people who don't really come on much who may not get the emails. They may or may not understand how to fix the problem.

Could it be something to do with hotmail addresses?

Yeah the email attached to my account is a hotmail account. I don't even get e-mails from codex anymore (both PM notification e-mail and board admin updates are enabled too), meaning I'm currently getting no notification for new reports.

I installed the report manager and so you can choose how to get notifications for reports. It would be mighty weird if hotmail didn't allow codex email.

I don't see the reports thing on the menu bar...
You need to install the favicon again btw.

Should be done now

I think it is somehow not allowing it now though.

Can you try that actually? Test once more with hotmail and if it doesn't go through, switch it to gmail and test it again. Let me know how it goes.
