I just found out mine came in like last week tongue.gif
Turns out they came in perfectly straight biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Mine are in, and have been for a couple of years. I remember once when I was at the Dentists he said I should have them removed... then I didn't go to the dentist again for like 2 years while i was in college... then I went back and he said they grew in fine.

Since everyone here has a horror story about them, I think I'll leave them in.

Was your dentist a barber in disguise?! Telling you to get them removed when they came in fine! I would have sued or something if I went through all that pain and they would have just come in fine angry.gif. Of course, I would never have known tongue.gif. Still.

Reminds me of a dentist I once had (just bad dentists in general). I was about 12 and had to get 2-3 cavities filled. He filled them, but didn't use anything to null the pain. Seriously I was seating in the seat trying to resist myself from screaming and bursting into tears. After that WONDERFUL experience, I didn't go back to the dentist for 3 years. I finally went to a different dentist and had 12 cavities which took roughly 3 months and 4 appointments to fill! tongue.gif

Yeah...I didn't eat that well as a kid... tongue.gif He also told me I would need braces for about 2 years. The new dentist (with my teeth looking basically the same except the cavities) said I didn't need braces, but could have them if I wanted them. So yeah he was a terrible dentist. tongue.gif

Your wisdom teeth usually come in between the ages 16 and 25. So, until your over that age, you might want to visit the doctor yearly.

My best friend jacob got his wisdom teeth pulled this yesterday because they came in directly sideways, and he doesnt want to talk to anyone.

I have had the bottom two pulled a little while back.
First the right one, which was 2 weeks ago. It hurt as hell.
And barely 1 week ago the left one. No problem with that one. tongue.gif
But yeah, wisdom teeth stink. dry.gif

A friend of mine had all four pulled at once. Here in the Netherlands that's not even allowed, lol. Because they're not allowed to anesthesize you on both sides or something.

I had an extraction before my braces that required me to pull out 7 teeth in one sitting. They were all baby teeth though so it was alright. After four teeth were extracted (the first one split in half while being extracted dry.gif), I couldn't take it anymore and I made up a story that I had to go to the bathroom real bad to get out of it and hopefully sneak out tongue.gif. My Mom was with me though and knew what I was up to so she brought me back dry.gif.

My friend got her wisdom teeth pulled recently and she looks like a squirrel filled with peanuts tongue.gif Only bad thing that happened with my dentist was they always forgot to grind the fillings down whenever I had a cavity, felt weird

Does it actually make a difference? I've tried all sorts of different toothpaste but i heard if you put a layer of sensodyne on your teeth when you go to bed that helps, should probably give that a go... sometimes my teeth are so bad i can barely eat chocolate wacko.gif

Yea i'll give it a go, problem is with a lot of these things it's psychological, because you start using new stuff you want to think it's helping so much you actually believe it is lol.

I just got all 4 surgically extracted and 3 outa 4 were good. The 4th one came out ok but wouldnt heal and I ended up with a dry socket. The doc, if he can call himself that, just put medicated gauze in a hole in my effin mouth for 2 weeks and finally started to heal. The pain was, well I will just say i have never been in as much pain. I broke both legs, compressed my spine and tore my ACL but this pain was way worse. Oh yeah, on top of that. The pain meds worked for the first 4 or 5 days.

dAAAAAAAAAAAANG you'rs is pretty bad sad.gif were all of them impacted? sad.gif

So long as they don't grow in crooked you shouldn't have to get them pulled. I think at least. Pray tongue.gif .

Mine is fully grown, but the only problem is they are still inside and tipped over, perfectly horizontal buttin into the molars in front of it. lol.. Looked really weird in the xray. Doc told me to pray they stop growing or else will need to be surgically removed 1we8.gif

    Horzontally impacted wisdom teeth..

Horizontal impaction (3%) is the least common form, which occurs when the tooth is angled fully ninety degrees forward, growing into the roots of the second molar.
