man i had the very worst expierence with having my wisdom tooth removed. they pulled it out and everything went fine (except the damn doctor kept shoving the needles in my gums and wiggling them, swear I almost hit him) until I got home. the hole was still bleeding a bit even with the gauze in the hole so I kept pressure till it finally stopped. the doctor never told me to drink oj or anything which I guess they are supposed to. Well anyways I went and took a nap hopeing to sleep the semi pain away. when I woke up I felt really stick to my stomach so I walked up my stairs from the basement to the kitchen, when I got on top of the stairs my head got super fuzzy and my vision went all checker boardish (I have backouts every once in a while but I usually can sontrol them so was not to scared at this point) I tried concentraiting hard on controling my vision but to no avail everything went black. As soon as everything went black I heard the loadest bangs and thuds, it sounded like my house was falling apart. The sounds finally stoped my I found myself not being able to move or see anything but pitch black, so I did what any manly guy would do, I yelled for help with all my power for dear life, when nobody answered I started yelling for my mommy (I dont live with her, it just sort of came out) I was not able to move or see for a good 15 minutes, finally I started getting my touch sense back and realized I was on the floor in a pretzle with my head pressed up against something really hard. I tried to move but could not, my vision started slowly coming back and I could bairly make out taht I wa son my basement floor and my head was smashed up against the metal support beam. once I was able to start moving I crawled up stairs and through something at the phone to make it fall on the floor and I diled my neighbors house to have them help me.
Well anyways everything ended up ok but I for some reason felt like sharing taht storey when I read your post about wisdom teeth being worse.
to the Op, good luck with the braces, unfortuantly I know no one that liked having them until they were off.

They aren't bad after a while. And they are well worth it when you get them off.
