Hello everyone,

I'm sure many of you will be disappointed to hear, but we are putting an end to trading neopets currency, pets, etc for real money. I realize that this is very short notice, but due to the high rate of accounts being frozen, we feel that the services bring more negative consequences to our members then benefits.

This is also effective immediately. Any threads of trying to trade neopoints or any other neopets item will be closed as soon as staff sees it, so don't bother.

Thank you,

-The Neocodex Administration.

Whoa...I didn't think it would be completely removed. I don't really trade for USD so it's no great loss personally.

I guess it's for the best though if it protects members' accounts.

*goes to darkztar to sell my points for cash*

Seems like a drastic measure considering that their is no way to actually link the issues.

    X2

I think it did perk up the boards a little bit and attracted new people. Maybe wait a while to see if any new info on the icings come to light?

Meh, it didn't perk up the boards nearly as much as I though it would have. Not a huge lost, IMO.

I see, well I guess it did help the trading boards go a lil faster but that's about all it did for neocodex. No big loss.

You can go to the other forum you mentioned for now but CheeSie is also thinking of doing this so you better sell, sell, sell while you can Marine.

Well that's disappointing to here sad.gif I thought it was great to have. Although there is no direct link with the Trading Post and the Freezings I guess it's better to be safe than sorry?

Were you frozen for selling? What was the reason?

Cheating, which I hadn't done for a good 6-7 months. I'm just saying I was frozen in the recent spree, but I had no connection to the trading section.

I guess the actual term they used was "downloadable cheat program".

Well not to those in this situation anyway.

Loads of people got frozen becuase they had used a proxy, some never did anything wrong whilst on the proxie but they still got frozen....

Neopets froze the accounts linked with the proxie/s and i asume that they couldnt freeze it for a pacific reason so they made up the frozen reason...1we8.gif

My main got iced for using multiple accounts... even though it never interracted with any other of my accounts, and i used a proxy to access it. So... that's probably why. *shrug* guess i need to go to a rarely used source of proxies lol.
