From your experience how long does tnt usually wait to freeze you? From major/obvious cheating to less obvious/'low profile' cheating/transferring/scamming whatever. Im currently testing something and I wanna know if its working.

I've only been iced for cheating on games. And usually, it's a couple of days after I cheat. The longest has been a few months.

    Was it low key activity?

Normally my cheating accounts (somewhat subtle I guess) would get iced in 1-1.5 months. My legit accounts normally get iced in 6 months to a year. tongue.gif

And cheating for me = ABing + some SSing. Haven't done that in a while though. smile.gif

It only takes me a few days to get iced, and thats for high profile cheating, When i do a little cheating to none, it takes 1 month or so...

It only takes anyone a few days. there's no way neo would keep your logs on record for more then a coupple weeks. they have toooo many accnts to track.

This account was using an 'auto buyer' to buy things from Neopet shops.

guess the auto haggler was too fast... oh well...

yup... shifty.gif the two nps selling accounts are still alive though (1 legit, 1 auto haggler). maybe it was when it tried to haggle a bunch of times on one certain item. recently while legit rsing, i would haggle and hit the pet image and it would say i missed. but i know for sure i hit it, then when the haggler was going, the same thing happened, but much faster... meh.. oh well..

I hope your right noit. Anyway im pretty sure they don't manually freeze accounts, but just have an alert system program that will ice accounts that like buy stuff at beyond human speeds. Too many abers out there.

Ahhhh! I'm all paranoid now! I have like twenty or so accounts that I play games on every day- no progs or cheats or anything, just manually playing games for points. I transfer all the points to my side every month or so through trades. Most of my accounts are around five months, though my main and major sides are all 1 year +. Never used proxies, never been frozen. Any guesses as to how long before I get iced? unsure.gif

If you've never cheated then you don't have anything to worry about... well, not much. Most people get iced so quickly because tnt usually knows who they are (to a certain extent).

Well I've cheated in that I've played games and done dailies on more than one account. I assumed that I was safe because in the two or so years that I've been doing this, I've never been frozen. Now I'm not so sure...

Sounds like a plan. I'd rather not lose my UC/exclusive pets though crybaby.gif Should I make some legit accounts from another IP and gradually transfer my babies there? Or is that just setting them up for a chain freezing spree?

I dunno if you've really been doing it for the past 2 years I would assume that whatever your doing is low profile and safe. But then again tnt acts very unpredictable so yeah........

I'd say if you've been doing it for 2 years you're alright because they obviously haven't realised. Whether you wanna continue doing it or not is up to you...

Mkay well thanks for the input everyone. I think I'm going to create safe accounts to transfer my pets and valuables to (discreetly of course). I'm gonna be building my gallery and collections over there so I have less chance of my hard work being lost forever.

Transferring might be more likely to get you iced tongue.gif

True, but I will do it through non-suspicious trades and with all-legit items and points. *crosses fingers*
