Sooo, in the past I've been having trouble accessing Codex. I would be forwarded to

res://shdoclc.dll/DNSERROR.HTM#(whatever url I'm trying to access here)

which would then forward me to an ask.com search of NeoCodex. I could get around it in the past by clicking on the "Cached" button, and then just clicking the forums, and all was well. Yesterday, however, I couldn't get on Codex at all. Even when I clicked the Cached button it would just take me back to that res://shdoclc.dll/DNSERROR.HTM shit. I'm surprised I could get on it today. It happens in all my browsers.

How do I fix this? =( I PMed Hydro about it when it started happening (shortly after we upgraded or switched something) and he suggested I go to my command promt and type in ipconfig /flushdns, but that wasn't very successful. Any ideas?

You could try changing to OpenDNS rather than the ones you're automatically assigned.

Your problem yesterday may not have only been you. I was getting a consistent board error that said the server was too busy, or something like that.

I was getting errors saying the server wasn't responding. Then I got an error saying that it couldn't resolve the hosting for neocodex.us.

I don't think its a DNS issue, but I'll use OpenDNS as well, just for the hell of it.

The OpenDNS thing didn't seem to work, although I could just be ignorant and not know how to use it (likely the case). tongue.gif
