I understand. It becomes easier with age. For example, I'm in a situation that started like that where he liked me for a long time and I liked him for a long time but y'see we didn't connect it together. But that's okay. It turned into a great relationship worth waiting for smile.gif Naturally he and I pretty much got together immediately once we realized each others feelings, but still. That ease comes with age and experience. You don't have much experience asking girls out and that's okay. At your age that's a GOOD thing.

Right. Then there's this other guy, though. If he wasn't in the picture, we would probably be together right now. Seriously.

Well that's her choice to make and she will need to make it. Just be the person that you are and if she chooses him, it wasn't meant to happen. The ball is in her court on that matter. You can't wait and ignore the issue, though. She said you tell each other everything so just talk to her today if you can about that stuff. No pressure, no nothing. Just talking to see how she really feels.

That's what I planning on doing, now after thinking about it. Just let her decide. I don't want to be with her if she doesn't want to be with me.

Just a quick note. Your 15 dude. Unless you try to rape her or you've been faking an act to her for the past 5 years I doubt anything you'll do will screw up your relationship majorly.

And don't misinterpret desperate with confidence. ask her out.

I don't even believe that the Friend Zone exists. I've had relationships with guys I've been very close friends with for years before. *Shrugs*

My opinion on this whole thing, is you need to call her/text her as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the longer your giving that other guy time to get close to your girl. Don't push a bunch of questions on her, that may seem a tad odd, but DO let her know that you enjoyed finding out her feelings for you. Tell her it made you happy etc.

    you know
its better to ask her out and get rejected then to not ask and be wondering what would've happened

My opinion is to ask her and not worry about it to much, if ya wait to long, you'll miss your oppurtunity. It happened to me once, and it suks to lose out on someone you've liked for a while. You can wait a few days on it until you get comfortable, but you might want to watch out if you have other competition.

Another vote that you ask the girl out.

I know it's a few hours after the fact BUT....

I think you should've definitely talked to her about your newer feelings (being afraid to tell her). If she wants you guys to have a perfect talking relationship, then you've gotta talk.

    ohmy.gif

You know, she wants to know how you feel and stuff.

    Woot.

If it doesn't work out, you're still a close friend who she feels she can trust absolutely.
Which is pretty win if you ask me.

Alright, I got a little update. It turns out that she is hanging out with the guy today. Bad news. But seriously, it doesn't even matter any more. I'm not gonna try and ruin her relationship with this other guy just so I can get my way, that's beyond immature.

    I can wait.

EDIT: I just texted her telling her exactly how I felt, and she pretty much said, "i appreciate it that you told me smile.gif". But I just realized, this whole thing isn't working out because I never told her that I liked her earlier. If I would've, she never would've been with this other guy. Whatever haha. I need to call her later though, we need to talk about some things.

Guys seriously... it's difficult for some people to ask the girl of their dreams out when they are now in total shock still at the thought that the girl even likes them

    QFE

dude, i've been in the same situation as you a few times before, unfortunately none of them liked me back. (lol) SO if she even remotely likes you, and would be willing to go out with you, GO FOR IT. otherwise you'll spend a looooong as time kicking yourself for not doing anything. i mean, if she just met this dude, then she may have been doing it to get *your* attention. make you jealous. and if that's the case, then she really thinks a lot about you.

    bottom line: ask her out.

Grow some balls. Ask her out. Regret is not a thing that is envied much.

Hate to say it, but Lee's right. Ask her out on a date. You'll probably be as nervous as hell, but seriously just be blunt about it. Worst case is she says no and you move along. Shitty prospect but it certainly beats sitting around wondering what could have happened if you just tried.

It isn't that hard. Think up a couple ideas for things the two of you could do and ask her if she'd like to go on a date with you. If yes, discuss possible ideas and have fun. smile.gif

Don't give up just yet. Things that you really want, you usually have to work for. Fuck this other schmuck, you've got to give it a try. Obviously don't be ultra aggressive if you're interested in maintaining a good friendship with her, but go for it!

    Thanks for your help, guys.

But I wouldn't really say that the other guy was quicker than me, I found out that this girl and the other guy had been talking to each other daily for the past two months or so where as I just started talking to her again a week ago. I'm not really worried about it right now, though. Even though I can't stop thinking about it.

I'm gonna call her later and talk about some things, I'll update this later.
