I will need a fair few volunteers to share the workload. The result will be going in advanced+, but if you help and are not yet Advanced+ i'll give you access to it anyway.

This is a project for Neoquest II, i'll be doing all the programming, but you guys will need to go through game walkthroughs and stuff to gather information about exact paths to take, what to buy, who to talk to etc. It'll be well worth the effort thumbsup.gif

    Any experience needed?

Nope, i'll get some strategy sites for peeps and then mostly what you guys will need to do is "draw" paths from one place to another, and enter specific instructions on specific squares e.g. "buy iron sword here".

I'm quite the noobish when it comes to Neopets.
I haven't played Neopets since I met Lost Power, ha.
I do know a bit of stuff still, I think.

Man i have a tone of data on nq2 and i have a vb one too that is actually pretty frickin insane.

Its a manual mode. So it loads all the images of the field into the program. Works insanely fast (meaning its the best anti ad thingy). I really wanted to finish that.

Maybe I can give you the source and you guys can convert it to java? biggrin.gif
I have a ton of research on the spells done too smile.gif
Tons of sources as well smile.gif

I'll post in jr proger with all the info for you jau smile.gif

Mine also followed paths and talked to people smile.gif

This is real good for adv+ but i would like to break off the manual mode for public.

So manual mode just strips all the ads and stuff basically?

    Does your prog autoplay completely?

It follows paths only. I want to make it get back on the path from the restore spot if it dies. I couldn't figure it out so i never released it.

It's like a year and half old I want to open it up again and see it. It was reallly nice.

I think I'll actually join you in programming this soon after I finish NeoPost. So while i finish neopost you can work on converting this to java biggrin.gif

I can help you out, there's a good site with maps and stuff on it of all of NQII. I've already beaten it twice. Insane mode is well, insane. Keep dying.

Ah, just send me a PM if you need/want my help.

If you can get ahold of Sockopen then he could maybe hit you with some source.

He started an auto completer but never finished it.
