I'm sure there are some people stupid enough to fall for them, but then again, a fool and his money are soon parted, tongue.gif.

The people who send them out are also pretty stupid, Smh @ them.

I dunno how they would get your email, that shit would annoy me.

As long as the internet exists, shit like this will aswel. People must fall for them though. It's something that's been going on for absolutly ages, and surely it would have stopped a long time ago if it didn't produce results. It's probably the elderly or less computer-savvy folks that get sucked up.

You have to remember that there are a hell of a lot of people who didn't grow up around computers, if they get an email saying that their bank account has been accessed and they need to change their security details then they're likely to believe it unfortunately. 1we8.gif

Firstly, what kind of person falls for this crap? Secondly, do they not realise that sending all these emails to me might just come off a little suspicious even to the slightly dense.
And lastly, how have I suddenly got on this list tongue.gif I opened one and all the other emails have the word kitsune in it so maybe it's just random... but geez.

Btw, just so you know, don't ever reply to these emails just to tease them or yell at them, they then get confirmation that it's an active email address (as in someone checks it) and won't give up.

People who are computer illiterate will fall for them. Why wouldn't they? The internet is a big daunting world to them, and when they get a bank email stating their name and stuff they are going to fall for it.

My mom drives me crazy. She calls me all the time because she gets emails from ebay or paypal... and she's afraid she actually owes people money. e.e

Even though she's NEVER bought anything from Ebay, and she's NEVER used paypal.

She made the mistake of emailing them back complaining, even though I told her not to. To just delete them.
