I'm so sorry. When i left for college, one of my cats started vomitting uncontrollably. Got really emaciated and weak cuz he couldn't keep food down. The animal hospital kept him alive and whatever was wrong with him seems to have at least temporarily past. Even when things look really grim, sometimes they can turn around. Don't give up on her yet

My sympathies to you. She reminds me of my tabby Gabby (no joke, that cat was a talker) without the white socks. Anyway Gabby was an SPCA kitty, and was sick from the beginning of her time with me. But, I figure I gave her about 6 extra years of a good and comfortable life with lots of loving. Though I still cried a lot when I had to have her out to sleep. Her kidneys had shut down. Dialysis for kitties wasn't an option. It would have been more for my benefit than hers anyway.

So, just give your kitty as much love as you can for as long as you have her. Best wishes to you both.

That sucks, hope your cat recovers somehow.

My cat died, but it was even worse for me. I was 5 or 6 and I came out and saw my cat lying on the floor with foam out of his mouth. The ants were on it too sad.gif I didn't know that it was dead because I was little back then. I loved that kitty sad.gif It's name was Tuffy. It would go in my room every night and greet me with a meow as I went to bed. One of the most friendliest cats ever. I'm getting sad talking about it right now. Pretty traumatizing.

the only drawback to having a pet is that eventually you have to let them go sad.gif.

I remember one time two of my cats died within 4 months, one who was 20 and died an extremely cool but brutal death (getting killed by two 150 lb dogs), and another who had liver cancer for a handful of months and we didn't know cos the cat was shy and wouldnt go out of under my bed.
