It's like a drug i tel you! tongue.gif

TNT iced my 1 month 200 avatar 8 mil legit main couple months ago, so that REALLY "turned me off" of neopets, but im starting to want to come back.

Is the "old charm" still kind of there? Still fun to chat, collect NP, etc?

Thinking of avatar collecting again biggrin.gif

Convince me =p

Well, that would depend when you were iced.

It definitely DOESN'T have the charm from Classic Neo, not even close.

But you said you were banned a couple months ago, so if you were banned a bit before AC3, then it's the same as when you left, so I'd say it's kept its "old charm"

The longer neopets is around the harder it is to start up and do well, but so long as you were doing pretty well before, there's no reason that can't happen again.

I'm finding that very true but it is still possible, i used to make around 3m a day from cheating now I am lucking to make 1m a month semi legit (occasionally abing carefully for one item at a time) but it is still playable, and the more money you have the easier it is to make money.

3m a day is a little foolish in all honesty. Anything over 500k a day cheating is not worth the risk.

If you're making only 1 mill a month there's something quite wrong... I've been able to get 3 mill in the bank in the couple months I've been playing on my new account (having probably spent a few mill on my account in that time). 3 mill a month is reasonable and easily done.

It used to be very doable when autobuyers were less detectable, you could leave shysters on all day and not get frozen, hell you could leave Fab or Atmos in multiple shops at once for two weeks before you got frozen. And back in the day when it restocked at a set point of the minute I used to make a killing. 3m might be a reasonable amount and i must say in the past month i probably have made a little over a million but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was easy, not in the same sense as it used to be where it required no effort.

agreed , the chances of being frozen a few years back was really near to none. i was using Abers back then.

but now it seems to be oh so risky 1we8.gif

i really never noticed any change. i mean someone took my 8 year account away [it was one of my mains] and now they had to destroy the account and make it into dust. that was 3 years back though and i NEVER cheated then. now i do, and im not getting caught...

You won't find yourself struggling to keep up with the new avatars?
