I love thanksgiving; it's one of my favorite holidays. Every family has its own way of doing things

In my fam, we eat a big lunch instead of a big dinner. For dinner, we have leftover turkey sandwiches. We watch the macy's parade and football. Pretty typical except for switching lunch and dinner

What are your thanksgiving traditions???

We go to the lion's game to watch them lose, then eat thanksgiving with my family, pretty interesting, right?

Poor Englanders...you're missing out on such a nice excuse to eat your body weight in seasonal food!

    Thanksgiving paintball sounds fun though

Usually I go to a bunch of places, but this year, I'm just making dinner. Only a couple people over. Since no one that will be here likes turkey, I'm going to make chicken. Thanksgiving has always been one of my least favorite holidays, but it gets me out of work so I'll celebrate it the best I can. Oh and my work is giving us off "black friday" as well! Yay for a 4 day weekend!!!

My dad, brother, and I help put together the Christmas tree. Plus we have a bunch of snacks throughout, watch some of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, watch some football, have a big dinner, and just relax in general. Usually it's just my family, rarely does anyone come over. It's always a fun day. biggrin.gif

Oh, is this week thanksgiving? I guess I should call my parents then. I already celebrated the Canadian one a month ago tongue.gif One of my favorite things was turkey, stuffing, and gravy sandwiches. You'd pile it all on and then warm it up for like two minutes and it got so piping hot and delish.

    We don't celebrate Thanksgiving anymore.
    Turkey makes my dad sick.
And it's just too much work to cook all those things for 3 people.
    I don't mind anyway.

I LOVE Thanksgiving. We always have lots of snack all day and then a late lunch at 2. Then be miserably stuffed all the rest of the day. Then on Black Friday we go buy a real Christmas tree and decorate the house. I guess they won't be decorating this year because they're moving on the middle of December.

My rents don't celebrate so I gather a few other outcasts of american society and go to the beach. Set a bonfire, have a lil picnic, drink a lil campaigne, pass around the peace pipe like the native americans did.
