A while back on an old account I managed a guild, it was kind of fun... mostly a waste of time though...
what's the point of guilds, is anybody actually in one that benefits them at all?

I don't really bother with guilds either. But some people make adoption guilds that people join to have a better chance at adopting a pet they really want.

It's like the facebook of neopets. REALLY fun at first, then *facepalm*.

Never had any success with it. I actually think I would have played more if I had joined a good RS guild or battledome guild. Sucks that the best ones have already come and gone, and the ones remaining are so tight knit that I don't have a chance in hell of befriending them. I consider myself pretty much a neopets veteran, and I remember the days of high neopets culture. Kinda wierded out by the site now.

I would've never known of the existence of codex if I didn't join the guild I'm in now. Ange is right though, you can definitely meet some excellent people if you join the right guild.

the guilds I've been in were a bunch of dramatic 12 year olds...i'd imagine somewhere there are some decent ones though

Their are some good ones, I used to be in some bd guilds before I got frozen.

It's weird how ALL guilds are private now. I don't have a spectacular amount of avvies, no NFs, and nothing special to my account...I would like to join one, but I don't really know how to go about it .

Anyone got a guild lookin for a new member ?
