Mine skipped hers all the time. Something about her diet. Literally 7 months since she's had it. Not worrying though tongue.gif

That's really unhealthy. tongue.gif

dude, she's cool. i remember my wife missed a period completely, and we were both like WTF!!!!!

but it's cool, it's rare, sometimes they can just totally skip one. also, yeah, the UTI might've done something, the anti's could've done something as well.

don't fret. and don't buy an expensive test. go to wally, buy the cheap 3-pack for $10, and use just one test. if it's neg, you're about 99% in the clear. this is what we did. you're cool bro.

    calm down

    Well.
Home test said positive. Both of them.
Got a vagina doctor appointment for wednesday.

Freaked out all day, skipped school to be with my girl.
I think it will actually be ok. I mean to you guys I am sure I come across as this irresponsible asshole.

But thats only with my own life. Even my girl said she has never met a more mature 19 year old.

I mean I have my own place, own truck, a job, and a steady 30% military income. I am 100% independent. In all honesty no one my age that I know is as ready to be in this position as I am.
Realistically most of the people in my family were born when their parents were 16-20 so I guess this aint bad.
I really do love this girl though. We have not been together long but I definitely think we have a shot at making this work.

I feel like a fag, because besides you guys, only 2 other people know. hahah

It is possible for both to fail.
I've used home pregnancy tests before, and if you don't do it just right, it could mess up, but it never hurts to be safe and see a gynecologist.
That's what vagina doctors are called btw, lawl.

It's hard to believe you can get a positive in both tests only 3 days after her period was supposed to come.
The pregnancy hormones don't usually start showing up that fast.
    Huh.

    Well, good luck man.

Actually, most tests will claim to be able to detect HCG on the day you miss your period. The most accurate results are withing 2 days-1 week after you missed period

Yeah, they "claim" to be able to detect it.
I guess it also depends how much you're willing to spend on a pregnancy test.
Of course the good ones can possibly detect it, but things under 10 bucks may have a harder time.

And of course, the gynecologist will be able to tell 100%.

This is EXACTLY why I'm on birth control xD

And what are you guys talking about. The tests I bought are supposed to be able to detect within 5 days before missed period.

Sonic, you're gonna die fighting an illegal war and your child will grow up a bastard. Do it a favour and get an abortion. Even assuming you don't get what's coming to you, you're in no shape to be a father.

    Harsh but true.

No shocker here but I disagree with you. Sonic has shown me personally he can be responsible when I needed help and I'm in no way related to him. I see him being able to handle a kid, something he will feel very attached too.

The fact that he's barely been seeing this girl, this pregnancy is unplanned, and he's still putting his life (and subsequently the mental stability of his possibly future bastard child) at risk for imperialist wars of aggression - simply put, these are the reasons he's unfit to be a father. I didn't question his emotional capability.

His mental capacity on the other hand... haha.gif

ar risk for imperialist wars of aggression?
    Um.
Im not out fighting in iraq anymore. Not sure if that was clear.

And getting an abortion is not an option. She has made it clear she is going to keep the kid, and I have made it clear I am going to do everything I can to be a good dad.

The way it works is actually 2 weeks after conception, which coincides with when your period is due because the majority work on a cycle of: ovulation (3 ish days I believe), 2 week break (+/- a couple days), period, 2 week break (+/- a couple days and from the first day of the period), ovulation, etc.

    Hm.
I must have always misread the pregnancy pamphlets then @__@
    They were kinda confusing.

But seriously people. This is why we use birth control x__x
Even if you're not against having kids, at an early age it's a silly idea.
Whoops, there goes college for a while.

I guess if you were silly enough to have unprotected sex, this is what happens.
Like I said before, good luck with that.
