    http://www.softpedia.../Unlocker.shtml

I think that's the program I used to delete crap that refused to be deleted.

Unlocker doesn't even give it an "Unlocker" option. Thanks anyway though.

IIRC, when you delete the icon, it should say what process won't let you delete it, then give you the option to close it.

If that's the program I'm thinking of.

There isn't even a delete button when I right click, and I don't get any errors when I hit the delete key, it just doesn't go away, so I think your program is the same as Hobos.

Have you tried going into the actual desktop folder and deleting it?

I got the same thing with one of my icons. Has to do with logitech.

    Right Clicking just shows-
    Open
    Explore
    Get Pictures
    Create ShortCut
    Rename
    Properties

Can't use delete key or drop into recycle bin

I went into CP and uninstalled everything but the drivers, so it's gone and I can still print and scan.
    Thanks everyone smile.gif

Open cmd (Start > run > cmd)
Close open programs and press ctrl+alt+delete
    Processes tab > explorer.exe > End process
Leave task managar open and in cmd type "del [filename]"
Task manager > File > New task > type explorer.exe
