Been addicted to Heroes since a certain someone told me to watch it. I haven't opened up PS in a really long time, and just installed CS4, so go easy.

Which looks better? I kind of like the second myself, just because it actually relates to the show a bit more.

I'm still getting this whole coloring thing down, so that is why there is a lack of color.

It's bright. I'd tone down on the lighting a bit and try to make the focal pop out a little bit more. I'm not a fan of the text.. and wouldn't have spotted it if it you didn't mention it. Nice border, although it's damn near impossible to see against Codex's light blue background.

I knew you wouldn't like it. Can't expect me to come up with a new style when I can barely even remember how to do my old shit, asshole, damn.

And yeah, it is pretty plain, but it took me a bit to remember how to blend layers and what filters to use, etc. Which ended up with me overblending things to the point where it just went with the original stock. Had to open a few old psd's and take a took at what to do. Usually don't bother with text, but thought it'd be kind of neat to kinda just throw it in there, apparently I was wrong. Hopefully, if I do decide to try again, I'll remember more shit and be able to add more depth, and less suckiness.

btw I actually like it. I don't know if it's my love for Heroes, My love for you, or if it's just gud. Probably just my love for heroes. :>

Can't really tell what's in the background (if there's anything at all) due to the lack of colors, but I do like the newer version better.

The first one I don't think that his face should be completely covered in texture. Perhaps erase it a little bit? Oh, and I do actually like the second version of the second. Bad subject, though. Never liked her : SO... stop watching Heroes because season two sucks ass.
