I'm horrible at tests like those because they involve typing things as you read them on the screen...my brain processes input from my eyes slower than I type tongue.gif I generally type like 120-130 wpm, though, based on prior experience.

I'm decent at typing quickly, but when I make a mistake I go scatterbrained and end up backspacing too much or too little.

Well....figured the best I could hope to do was memorize the sentence; then click start the clock and type. Made 4 mistakes but still did it pretty fast so meh.

If you copy and paste you get it all wrong, unless you quickly went into notepad and did a replace all, it puts a comma between every word.

That isn't the point of the exercise...you're supposed to touch-type, ie read it and type it at the same time..

I'm aware of that. I admitted originally that I suck at that. It's just you'll never need that skill in life....if you need to retype something that's on the internet you can just copy it, the only thing fast typing helps with is typing up things you've made in your mind. When I type stuff that comes from my mind I type 120-140 wpm. I don't really care how long it takes me to type up something that I have to read as I'm typing it.

The point was to see how fast people can touch type. Whether it's useful or not isn't the question here. But whatever. Do as you wish. I aint yo mama

Stupid test though. Delay time in clicking and you're writing sentences that don't make sense or have random Capitalization.
