Anyways what you should do is always have your head half in the water just like the rest of your body. Then turn your head to the side and breathe in every other stroke. I'm sure they already told you something similar though

Well it hasn't been years for me, but it's been a long time. I've always loved swimming, and when I use to take swimming classes once upon a time, they would tell me at every class that I was fast enough to compete on a swim team. I wouldn't mind doing so if only I had the time.
Surfing class sounds like a lot of fun.

Ya thats how I normally swim. Though I keep my head above water when I'm not swimming alone. Aggresive teenages make me paranoid. Also 4 laps at his pool might be alot longer then 4 laps in the pool you swim in. I dont think there is a standard lap length?

That could be, but the place I swam at had swim meets all the time so I assume it'd be the normal size? o.o Ah who knows. All I know is that swimming for an hour straight never ever made me tired. Can't run for shit xD

I think there's generally 2 sizes of pool, the normal ones (give or take a bit of length) and the olympic size ones which are a fair bit bigger. I miss swimming

yea that's not tiring at all. Maybe just the entire training that wore him out.
I do love swimming though because you generally feel refreshed afterwards rather than exhausted and sweaty.
