So, I've been doing world challenges, and I've gotten about 5 pieces or so so far.

But I'm kind of thinking ahead to the future, and researching prizes people have received from submitting their pieces... some people get good things such as Faerie Paint Brushes (RARE), and the most common thing I see are petpet paintbrushes (weak).

Do you guys think I should just sell the pieces once I get them all or should I submit the pieces and risk getting an item worth less?

Depends. Are you just going to sell the prize once you get it? If so, I would just sell off the pieces as I got them. As the old idiom (from when people used to hunt for their poultry) goes: "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." (Don't you just love the English language? ) But, then I'm not much of a gambler.

That's the thing, I WANT an Usuki Paint Brush but as far as I've seen that is not a prize offered once all the world challenge pieces are collected.

And I WANT to earn up enough to get it, but I worry that I would be losing money on submitting the pieces and getting, say a Brown Petpet Paint Brush.

BAH, I think I might just sell the pieces. I'll earn the complete set and sell them as a set.

Selling the pieces sounds better as I imagine neopets has them all not at equal odds. To get a paintbrush might be 1/10000 while a brown or ghost or petpet paintbrush might be 1/8

Sell them. Chances are, after doing 3 maps, you'll have substantially more money than if you had used three maps.

But that's the thing: I think in order to move on to the next series of pieces you need to submit all of the ones from the first, so if I sell all the pieces, then I'll have to restart, get all the pieces all over again, and submit. But the series 2 and series 3 pieces are more pricey.

So I guess I need to make a sacrifice! Probably need to research the prices some more.
