This news has sparked rumors that production has officially started again on the series and casting is underway.

This may be bad news? What would Bender be if he didn't sound like Bender? This is exciting and worrisome at the same time.

Love Futurama! :D I had always hoped Comedy Central would order new episodes after airing the movies, but that hope was starting to fade. This is awesome news. ^_^

Doesn't mean it's gonna be as funny as it was. The movie weren't that great at all.

Yea the movies werent too great.

Futurama is awesome. I feel like a lot of people don't get the show cause they can't notice the subtle humour and social commentary.

The sci-fi concepts are always awesome too :p

An insider told Collider.com that the network has given the series an order for 13 additional episodes to air now that the network has run through all of the series' original episodes and the four full-length DVD movies.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me. They ordered DVD movies last time... This is a pretty clear order for a full season of the show.

Seinfeld proved that a series can end, and yes, people will lament the loss, but it's far better than jumping the shark

Yeah, I don't know whether I'd rather see it end while it's still good and funny, or see it decline and be axed because of that :/

Scrubs, for example, should be allowed to die with what little dignity it still posesses. But no, it's being puppeteered onto another network.

    *sigh*

HOLY HELL you have to be kidding... not only is Scrubs losing its narrator, but it's being moved to a different network entirely. I loved this show, but I have a feeling this may be terrifying to watch

That's what I heard. To be honest, I haven't paid much attention, because I won't be watching it whatever the circumstances =P

Pfft, Scrubs should have ended a few series back now. It's going to be absolutely dire.

    Get
    The
    Fuck
    Out

In his context it was used like "Get out of here" as in "I don't believe what I'm hearing"

It already moved to ABC from NBC last season. Actually, the fact that it was renewed for another season was a shock to everyone, especially with JD and Elliot no longer being series regulars. Hell, the last season finale was called 'My Finale.' :p The ratings in America haven't been very good, even with the network move. Not that the ratings were that great before the move. The ratings are exactly what prompted the move in the first place. :p
