Damn. Sucks that pet actually gets bored of this game. Negative profit today

Paid: 600 NP
Payout: 272 NP

What's worse is how fast they get bored, only 20 games before it's finished.

I'm sure it's playing more than 20 games; Often it'll stay at "Round 1"at the bottom, which means that it keeps losing on the first card.

But made me 1.8kish so far, and that's the first use.

Thanks Hydro for the awesome program :D

Glad you like it :). If you can get up to the higher rounds, the chances of success become higher and higher. The program uses a fairly clever algorithm that Noit told me about. It uses probabilities of each card appearing based on what we have seen before and makes decisions based on that. That's how we can also generate the loss probability as well :p. Hopefully you haven't been hit by the very small loss probabilities :p.

I find pets get bored of Tyranu Evavu very quickly.

You're right it is 20 games. Says so in the log. lol.

Only rarely do I get hit by a 1.8% chance of losing. Most of them are over 30%... and that's just awesome. :) You guys are the best.

It was Noit's algorithm that let the program be so good :p. If you get up to the higher rounds, it gets less and less probable that you lose :p.

I hate it when the loss probability is 0%. That means you got the same card twice ><

I thought that was impossible since having the same card can neither be Tyranu nor Evavu.

I could have sworn this has happened. I've received a loss with a 0% loss chance. Pretty sure this is when they drop an Ace, you say Lower, and then it's another Ace (same for 2's). It's TNT's way of tipping the odds further in their favor.

I've played the game manually quite a bit and I've never seen the same card come up as the face card.

Huh... must be confusing this with other games I've seen of the genre (anyone remember the old game show Card Sharks?)

I wish I knew why I was losing with a 0% loss probability, then. I'll screencap it next time I see it.

I've seen the 0% loss probabilities myself so I know they happen. My guess is that the loss probability was so low that the rounding didn't catch it. I could be wrong though.

This doesn't seem feasible, though, since your ratio rounds to percentages. If all the Aces get played quickly (as in A,6,A,3,A,K), then you would be out 6 cards. If the 6th card is a King, then the likelihood of an Ace is 1/46 or 0.021 and that rounds to 2%

If I could see the cards in play, we could get to the bottom of this problem ><

    Consider this possibility:

    2 is shown...
with 100% certainty you pick higher...
    It's a 2
    YOU LOSE

i played it legit before.. if i get the same card, whether i choose higher or lower, i still get to move on to next stage. isn't it so?

If the card is the same value, either one will work.

I'm still thinking about TNT like a fucking Casino... where they have to do shit to tip the odds in their favor. That seemed like the perfect "tilter of the playing field" in their direction....

Then again, maybe I'm just thinking about Card Sharks from the old days :3

    Loss probability: 76.0%

Just confused about this., If the loss probability of picking higher is 76% then the game should have picked lower with a loss probability of 24%?

Or am I just confused. :pirate1:

Made 3 Neopoints. Loss probability: 55.5%
Made 14 Neopoints. Loss probability: 56.8%

    Again same question as before...

Just for example if going higher gave a loss probability of 55.5% then the autoplayer should go lower,

From the little I know about the program and probability odds, there should never be a situation where your loss probability is more than 50% because if your loss probability is 55% then picking the other option must be 45% and thus the better option.

Can someone shine some light on this for me?
