Hey guys was wondering if any of you knew how many points you get per win/rank ect from the altador cup, like does it matter how man goals I score, becuase I can usually get around 8 per game but it's easier to just get two and hold my player in the corner. Thanks

1 point per win.
1/2 point per draw.
1/2 point per Slushie Slinger score over 300.
1/12 point per Make Some Noise score over 3000.
1/12 point per Shootout Showdown score over 650.

Goals mean nothing, just for making Neopoints for the first three scores sent in.

Doesn't matter how many points, it's based on game plays. Search around. There's a thread about this, actually. Probably should have put it in the Plot Tracking thread.

Nobody will know for certain until TNT announces it after the finals.

Here are some theories:

Weighted points (including YYB wins and goals) from games -> Prize points
Games played -> Prize points
Bonus for team rank?

My guess is that points scored WILL come into play at the end because it counts towards deciding a winner every day. Just my opinion, though

Well, obviously, the more you play and the higher your rank, the more points you'll get, we don't know exactly how it's calculated though.

I'm playing for Krawk Island... and my overall game plays are in the following ranges:

YYB: 150-160 Games
Points: 1600-1700
SS: 500-525 Games
MSN: 1200-1250 Games
SOSD: 1200-1250 Games

Rank 9

And I was proud of myself today. 30-35 Games @ GPG=11.53

I'm getting a lot better... but it's almost the end of the competition

You should at least jump in (on Faerie Land to not drag KI down ) and get to Level 1 for the avatar on a new account. There's still 6 days to do it.

Yeah, I could, then I would have to take things easy with the programs then, or create ANOTHER account for testing so I don't accidentally get my new main frozen.

Well, if it does count, it should be a small amount, as there should be a group of people who can win, but have a low goal average.

If you are playing enough to a point where you've played over a hundred games you should be getting good enough to get about 8+ PPG.

So the only people complaining about this are the people who score 2 goals then hide the ball in the corner
